Does anyone think evelynn is op or is she just strong

I've been playing Eve in ranked lately and I've been successful except she seems to be banned alot. As a backup, u have nocturne because he destroys low elo. Neither of them scale well but I've been winning more than I have been for a while. Anyways eve got her rework and I don't think she's super op. I think she's just a strong champion but she is still countered by champions like sejuani and my last game was against one but we won and I beat sejuani in every way. I did have a hard time getting in on the backline. She is pretty fun to play. That ult is also pretty flashy. You get a squishy to 30% and it kills them but if its a tank with 4000 HP, it doesn't kill. Her regen scaling is rediculous. It's like a 250% AP scaling on the hp threshold and you have a free warmogs if you get far ahead. Not saying it makes her hard to kill but if she leaves for a few and comes back, she has full hp. Anyways is she op or just strong.

Edit: she has a 70% ban rate bc she's new and only a 40% winrate but I seem to be doing fine with her. This could be skewed though.

The winrate is because of the hype. If she is always banned people think she is op, then auto lock her when she isn't and lose because they don't know how to play her at all.

Good thing I played a couple games before hand. I always play a couple games first then I take them into ranked and that's why I've won all 3 ranked games although my first ranked game, I got destroyed but I still have my team alot of kills.

She isn't OP. Lol. Just said that people ban new champs all the time. According to data, Evelyn probably needs a good amount of buffs.

She is strong. She has extremely fast and healthy clears, not garbage pre-6 ganks and becomes a monster post-6 until late game.

Her early ganks are kind of hard to do because the charm timer and how Telegraphed it is. That's my main issue. I try to gank early but it hasn't really worked out. What I can say is she isn't broken but shit players play her and think she's op because they haven't played as or against her and they play her and lose and she's also the most banned champion because the rework.

I mean I developed my opinion from playing her, not from getting salty on the receiving end of an Evelynn ass-kicking.

That said, her being banned is purely because everyone knee-jerk bans reworked/new champions, even in norms, inexplicably. Ranked I get, but really, normals?

I agree. I also played her before judging her. I thought she was just a good champion. It's just normal. You gain nothing from winning unless you're unranked. Other than that, let me play my champion god damnit. Welp, I have a backup with a similar playstyle. They call him nocturne except he's a diver and not an assassin. Either way, I'll stomp post 6 and get my team ahead.

eve in terms of clearing camps and ganking is strong and good

but other than that she isn't strong or op

she needs a buff not with her damage her damage is perfectly fine

I'm by no means a great player and I'm one of the community's hated Lux support mains. That being said, I recently had a game where a 10/10/<5 Eve blew me up multiple times before I could cast a spell. It started with me at 6/1/16.
