Any changes or plans in general for Skarner???
Like, I know hes finally getting a skin, but his kit could REALLY use some love.

Skarner has always been horrid to balance bc of his R. This is also an ability that will never be significantly changed bc of his identity with it. Additionally, he's getting more attention now in top lane than he has in ages and probably won't be changed because of it.
You've been waiting for 5 seasons while there are over 100+ champions with more interesting gameplay than that piece of crap.
Nah, gota tinker with akali some more and then go for the annual ryze rework.
Not time to invest effort into a champ that won't sell prestige skins...
Seriously though, akali got more work put in AFTER her recent rework with in 3 months than Skarner in the last 3 years, and he's in dier need of some serious work ever since the juggernaut update...

The fact they are making a skin means there is very little chance they are updating him anytime soon unfortunately. Usually they refuse to make skins for champions who they know will be updated in the next 1 to 2 years, which means Skarner is gonna be stuck off on his own with his poorly revised season 5 kit for what feels like forever.

I feel like riot shoulda just made him the mana using form of rek'sai with a skillshot CC that does what his current ult does now. Instead of being a rage bruiser he could be a mana bruiser with more fighting playstyle rather than rek'sai's pseudo-assassin style
IMO I think he needs to actually get his Passive changed in the first go. Its terrible. I can imagine something that would make him more and more durable as the game goes on, some scaling/farming maybe? His E and R are actually good, they provide a good form of CC but you stil have to know the champ limits to use them properly. His Q should be like the go to ability to max when you wanna play a skirmisher, but now it has basically no value o it, no impact. Maybe something like Mundo E with his charged Q giving him Attack speed stacking 4 times? His W is good, in a way, but also horrible, the shield there is great, but not so strong as with lets say Sion, I would give him more Armor and magic resist scaling or maybe when he activates it, it gives him some Tenacity?
Just my opinion, the champ as he is, is good, he just needs some love.

i think Skarner's E and R should stay one way or the other but i think his Q,W and passive with these odd "map-points" (no skarner player sorry) should be changed. Q could be something with his nippers snap massively hard in one massive AOE and his W... well idk.. i think Skarner could be one of THE coolest champs if he gets a rework on a similar level like Warwick.
and then she should get some cool skins like eternum or glacial or deepsee/abyssal or something
