Boots stink

I dont like the concept of boots in league. Without getting into a full analysis of boots I'll list some things I dislike about boots.

They are relatively cheap, but they feel like the delay build pathes, especially for weaker early champs who tend to rely on boots more.

-They feel less of a core item on champions that are strong and may stick with T1 boots as long as possible but weaker champs usually complete a boot item directly after building a first item. An outlier is in a heavy double pen mage meta.

-The balance between boots can effect the balance of the game drastically for such a cheap item and some boots are drastically stronger than others: Tabi, Sorc, Mobi. We had bot lane metas and some top laners be unplayable just because of the strength of Tabis for example.

-The only boot that is healthier in design tends to be Merc, and that's only because it's most champs only reliable source of Magic Resist and/or tenacity.

I personally think, imo, that the game would be better if base speed of champs were slightly increased and boots were removed from the game.

This may open up some space for a few new and more interesting items.
