Although I like most of the mastery changes, I have to say that I am very frustrated by the presence of both Natural Talent in the ferocity tree and Savagery in the cunning tree. Both of them are ESSENTIALLY a "easier to last hit" option over their counterparts, which is beyond ridiculous when you get to a level game play were people know how to last hit.
Now in the VERY niche case of someone like kayle or akali, someone might make an argument for taking natural talent, but even in the hybrid cases, lifesteal and spell vamp are FAR better past the first couple levels (and the VERY VERY VERY slight advantage of having +2AD + 3 AP roughly is pretty much insignificant), so making an argument that these masteries are anything BUT an "easier to last hit" option is wrong.
The whole principle of these new masteries is to make real, relevant player choice in my masteries correct RIOT? Well here is the problem with the cunning case: everyone that is not a jungler SHOULD take wanderer over savagery. A jungler is the only one that benefits from the extra dmg to jungle monsters. The laning phase part of that mastery is a negligible joke for people that are specifically bad at last hitting.
This is pretty much the same case for natural talent: people that are half decent at the game will know how to last hit with abilities and autos, while people with more experience at the game will still get the same farm and last hit, but have better life steal at the end of the game.
The bottom line is that mastery choices shouldn't be : I'm bad at the game so I will take this, or I'm good at the game so I will take this because I am proficient at last hitting. I should have REAL STRATEGIC CHOICES. PLEASE RIOT
