How about we slightly buff his AP ratios alongside it.
There's no real reason to build significant AP on him atm. Its not because his health scaling is better. Its because his Q is trash.
Outside of that, Vlad has the same issues as the old one, but without the crutch of WotA.

How about absurd waveclear for such a tanky champion, insane safety and extreme scaling int lategame coupled with early game not nearly as abusible as other scaling champions.
Vlad is broken and desperately needs straight nerfs before worlds, asking for any kind of compensation buff is silly.
Project omen1 votesVlad has too much safety during the laning phase for such a hard scaling champion. They only nerfed his base health by 25 and increased the cd of his E at lower ranks. They are basically trying to make his laning phase harder, like before his rework.

Vlad's laning phase is just as safe as any other champion you'll see in the LCS. Champions aren't picked unless they're safe, generally. I promise you, his ult is the only reason he's picked. Once Vlad is gutted, it'll go back to Viktor, Leblanc, etc.
Nothing is being solved by gutting Vlad's potential until he's not viable in the LCS. All it will manage to do is make him deal similar damage to other champions while having less range and CC. Ask yourself if that sounds like a solid balance direction.
