Can we finally deal with Fizz

I feel like Riot needs to remove excess power from his kit somewhere if he is going to be allowed to spam troll pole. A 2s nerf across the board did not solve his problems.

His passive should lose the damage reduction as he is supposed to be weak pre-6. Giving him flat reduction just makes him better at trading. (it reduces both champs and minion AAs making it really stupid considering he already has the advantage of walking through minions). And as long as it exists it just makes him more durable for no particular reason when he already has troll pole to dodge almost anything.

Maybe even bring his ult's AP ratio down to 80-90% instead of 100% to trim off some excess damage on ult if it doesn't get better after the first nerf.

they've nerfed fizz over and over for years everytime someone whines. They never have very good reasons and nobody really cares about the things that are actually overly convenient for him.

Azir is balanced but his counterplay is an issue. He's a toxic champ regardless of balance kindof like vladmir.

No, quote the hypocrisy or just say flat out what it is. What does azir getting nerfs have to do with fizz repeatedly getting nerfs to satisfy whining people over and over. So what if I don't have a thread to whine about azir. Like I said, he's balanced, he's just not healthy for gameplay. The OP wants to remove excess power, he doesn't give a shit about anything else he just wants his health bar to slow down.

You dodged the direct reference again. I think you may be the hypocrite here. I can't decide but riot can and they do have some, albeit outdated, design principles with which I may argue that Azir violates the meaningful decisions rules based off Riots own ruling on prerework kassadin.

Kassadin was ban soloq.Azir isn't problem for soloq.You can not compare with Azir.

You can say I'm Fizz main so I protect Fizz but you should protect other champions with same reasons.

actually yes you would. Fizz and pre rework kass are both AP assassins with the same toxicity problems. Any argument against Kass hurts fizz.

Not that I have to go through your matchmaking history to explain to you that riot explicitly states that champs that either have too much control over engages or disengages should be considered toxic according to the meaningful decisions pillar of riot's own design philosophy. It has nothing to do with banrates and even if it was Azir has been on an upwards trend currently at 30% which is very high compared to others. If zed or something was nerfed today those ban numbers could explode. But its not about the bans. Its about game design philosophy stated by riot in their own article.

Until his troll pole is a get out of jail free card with draw backs then he not be balanced. He may fall out of the meta or be taken over by someone like Azir, but he will always be broken and in a state where he is not fun to play against for similar reasons to Zed.

The reason I hate Zed less than Fizz is he can't disjoint thing that are already going to kill him. He actually dies. Fizz can just go nope and continue on his merry way. And at the very least Zed doesn't going flying across a lane to assassinate someone without flash and mobi boots and Youmuu's.

He IS weak pre-6, incredibly weak. He's already at the point where he has no choice in most matchups but to stand back and soak xp while missing every cs unless he gets a gank.

Hitting his early game harder means he'll remain in the state where he simply stands around and waits for enough ability points that his base damages are high enough to score a kill even if he can't afford any items yet.

There are very few champs that can actually bully a Fizz.

Azir Annie Malzahar Zed Orianna Chogath . 5 of them are all problems in their own ways.

Chogath because he has a lot of CC and damage for a tank. Azir suffers from over buffing post-release before the bug fixes. Annie is cancer to lane against because of her refunding mana and CD Q and her level 6 burst. Zed just has a better lane phase and a better ult for blowing Fizz up if he catches him and has had a ton of issues. Malzahar

Once all those champs are dealt with then what does it leave to put him in his place? Not very many champs. But the problem I have isn't counter picking Fizz it's what you do if you don't counter him. If you don't counter him you literally just hide from him and wait for him to fuck up which IMO is a bad design.
