It's 2017, why is it so hard to detect and stop scripters?
Just played against one with over 150 games this season.
How the fuck does someone manage to get through 150 games while scripting and not get banned?

It's Yenn, does the cryfest ever end? Find out next!
Upvote for marginalizing. Coincidence?

Video?
There's no reason to, everyone has seen it and it's horribly obvious. They immediately take the fastest path (usually perpendicular) to avoid skill shots and hold position briefly, as it's preventing them from walking back into it in a panic. The holding position just at the edge of it is the give away.
There is a strong anti-anti-scripting majority here making sure to downvote anyone like Yenn, and me.
It IS obvious. It is blatant. It is WIDELY denied. Even here. Especially here? I can't tell.
Shady shady shady.
The worst part is it becomes LESS obvious over time as the scripts get better at seeming human.
If they can just prevent the chumps from realizing there are tens of thousands of scripters until then.
I was recently surprised to see that one of the most unknown platforms has 12k users. It's only a year old.
The most well known platform is over 5 years old and you can use it to script right now.
You might get banned on some of the platforms, but not all of them.
And if you play in Korea, you will get banned for more of them, because scripting is handled differently there.
If we post a video then we will be breaking the universal rules, "no naming and shaming".
The anti-anti-scripting majority here already knows this.
Do you know anything about code, statistics, probability, and community management?...
Lol. It's a lot more complex than you think.
Jk, I still have this gif from season 3. Notice Akali briefy hold position.
I can record clips like that from almost every game I play, and I do. I can record 25 videos of scripters in one week, upload it to youtube, and nobody will care. In fact, they will care more to spread doubt that scripts are not widespread.
Same reason in your title. It's 2017. It's a constant war against hackers, scripters, bots etc. As technology advances in defending against them, and detecting them, so to does the technology to HAVE them and use them. 150 matches is a little excessive i agree though.
But i just figured id'e let ya know, it's a constant battle, 1 patch will be a win for the defensive side, and then the following week someone will figure out how to get a script undetected through again, then Riot has to release another patch later to beat that one. It goes back and forth.
Look at F2P games liiiike CrossFire. Aimbotters and wall hackers 1 patch, the next patch they are completely gone for a good solid month. Then they figure out how to get through again, then there's shit loads of hackers again, then another patch comes out then there's no hackers again.
The cycle goes on and on and OOOOOOOOON
It's not a constant war in LoL. You can use the same platform you used 5 years ago. You can use the same scripts you used 5 years ago. And you can even do it for FREE.
That's why scripters are in every single sub-30 game.
Nearly half the people in my games in a brand new account are scripters using blatant dodge scripts. Riot can prove it. Riot probably knows already.
No, they are not dodging. They are script-dodging. The differences are huge. You can tell when they manually dodge or when they script dodge.
You can tell when their manual movements interact awkwardly with the script.
You can see that these players are experts at dodging while severely lacking in every other area that matters.
If you don't know the differences I can try to teach you. But you probably don't want to know.
The scripters are here in the forums as well. Or you can just go talk to them in their own forums. I know thousands of scripters from their forums.
And I know just as many from the games I play.
Yet, this will all be denied by anyone who can, quite strongly.
It's not "Oh, scripters huh? Tell me more...".
It's more like "stfu idiot scripters dont exist git gud ur silver scrub".
That's the response every time. It's hard to make any traction in an environment like that.
All multiplayer games I have played have cheaters and league is no different.
The real annoyance is that they are every-fucking-where now. It wasn't like this before.

umm i dont see this AT ALL in my games.. am i am currently in silver elo.
Maybe you don't know what to look for.
That's like saying you didn't see any planets, then me finding out you don't know what a telescope is.
How are you going to see something you know nothing about?
The thing is, some people DO know about this stuff, just not you.

Nice thread necro there bud.
Way to follow me around throwing FUD in all conversations involving scripting.
Guilty of thread necro. You got me. Heinous offense.

Not sure how I'm "following you around", this is the first time I recall see you, but maybe I'm wrong, nevertheless you revived a thread that was over a year old to contribute ostensibly nothing NEW to the conversation.
Other than that, I don't even know what you're talking about with "FUD" or whatever.
