The problem with mid lane and warding

I made a post previous to this one but realized it did not solve the necessary issue, therefore I propose a solution.

To give a general overview, mid has the most choke points compared to every other location on the map. This can be good or bad. The good news is you can escape if the enemy is coming in a different direction then where you're headed, the bad news is they can literally come in 6 different directions! A single ward simply does not cut it, the illuminated area is too small, while the ward can easily expire or get destroyed! Simply put, if you aren't playing a mobile champion, there's nothing you can do to stop a gank in mid lane. To add counter play, I propose wards should create an impassable barrier that can be destroyed by will also take time. This way, you won't always have to depend on the map or luck to stop a gank.

You're right that Mid is vulnerable, but a single ward in the right place can work wonders for your safety.

A pink ward in the island bush will grant vision of 2 ways someone can reach you from that side of the map. If you place a ward there, hug that side, and don't get too far forward, you should be pretty safe from ganks.

Alternatively a ward in the Jungle can let you track where the enemy Jungler is, so you can anticipate when they'll come for you.

I've also been spared a lot of ganks thanks to Scuttle Crab juking towards Mid while the enemy Jungler was attacking it, exposing them from my river ward.

The way I see it, there's a measure of luck with warding. You can make an educated guess and ward somewhere, but they might juke (ex in Top, you ward river, they come from top tribush... BOOM, first blood).

"Your team should have warded X entrance"

But its low elo... I mean... can't rely on it, and you only have 1 ward at start

Thats what Controll wards are for. Put a controll ward in the small river bush. And hang near the opposite side using a regular ward in the usual mod bush.

As I said, the illuminated area is still too small. If the jungler is smart, they will try a different route if the first one fails.

This gives no other route to take. Your possition is keeping vision on the vulnerable side while the wards are in places people commonly take.

Put a ward on the jungles entrance instead of in the bush. THen you know where the jungler is and to stay away from that side.

That's the problem, they don't always travel though the general entrance: river plus bush. When I play jungle, I make sure to take the longest route to corner my enemy as far as possible.

buy a control ward then place wards around/near jg entrances and river brush, ask ur jg to ward as well, really and truly you dont need every bush to be warded, 1 ward at a jg entrance can tell you alot of information as to when u should be careful
