When you ask your team 10+ times to upgrade their trinket and they still dont or say "I will when my build is complete"

(this is satire but seriously upgrade your trinkets yo)

Its honest just a joke I though of after I had this team we won though but the entire time I was begging them to upgrade those trinkets :p

Its not a joke though, there is no reason NOT to, unless your steamrolling the enemy and just dont need it. I cant ecall how many matches i've been in I've all but begged my team to upgrade for almost free extra vision. I know im guilty of it sometimes myself, its just easy to forget, but when someone mentions it I do.

250 is a waste of gold?

Leaving one yellow trinket per teammate ( let's assume Support and Junglers have Yellow all game long) your team at one time will have 7( 1 per champ + 2 from sight stone) vision wards on the map. + 5 Pinks would be 12 wards Max...... ( assuimg you aren't full build) so 7 total.

The Enemy team with upgraded trinket (Yellow) spent 250 each.... with 2 charges and laying wards everytime the Cd is up that is 3 wards per person Leaves u with 15 + 5 pinks = 20 wards on the map at all times. ( again assuming you are full build ) 15 total.

item 3361 15-7=8 more wards = more objective control, vision across the map and kill potential by catching someone off guard. not to mention these wards last 3x's longer than a basic trinket with 1/2 the cool down and charges..

item 3363 Upgrade blue drop a ward mid lane that can extend over 1/4 or a 1/3 of the map... look no one has make their way across the map to check dragon or baron item 3364 Upgrade Red have vision on stealth Champs, Stealthed traps, and wards... item 3362 Upgrade to Pink Yellow... True Vision with the potential of 5 pink wards on the map at all times....

After 3 uses all upgrades pay for themselves. Not to mention the kills and objectives you get because of them.

I really don't see the logic of anyone refusing to spend a whole 250 on the potential to carry 2 wards at all times and have 3 down at all times....

The debate of whether or not it is more beneficial to get a sight stone than an upgraded trinket is because it is simpler to grab a scanner while having the ability to place wards. This is why it is better to take this path instead.

You just completely missed the point of the argument. He was talking about others upgrading their yellow trinket.

Saw someone coming and avoided a surprise death? Notice someone low health prowling about and decide to catch them out? You ward just paid for itself, congrats.
