We want to remove silences from highly mobile, high burst champions since those are the cases that leave very little counterplay if played correctly. Garen's not very mobile, so we feel it's appropriate he has a silence still.

Fizz ult has a damage amp on it so that more of Fizz's burst combo is dependent on a long cooldown. That makes his choice of when he goes all in, and on who, more significant than if he can repeatedly use most of his full burst combo.

Veigar's ult scales with the opponent's AP so that Veigar has somewhat different target and match up preferences than other similar champions. It does add a bit more champion select counter feeling than we tend to prefer though, and can get drowned out by the sheer amount of AP he himself builds up, so there's some debate over how appropriate a mechanic that is.

Phoenix is there to offer Udyr an AOE option should he wish it, and to add some nuance to his damage pattern, particularly while jungle clearing.

The damage amp was removed from Ahri's E to shift her towards more of a mage pattern and less of a pick into kill model (contrast with Fizz being somewhat longer fight times, lack of untargetability, ranged versus melee etc).

Urgot's a bit of a mess, and his ult doesn't fit particularly well with the rest of his kit. It can lead to some cool plays, whenever we do an Urgot rework one of our goals will be to give him a kit with less conflicting notes to it.

While knocking enemies through Magical Journey would be cool it's both quite a lot of power, in a really team dependent way, and likely to lead to a lot of unintended displacements. Bard's already got a pretty hard to master playstyle and a fair bit of unreliability, so wouldn't want to double down further on those elements.

Hello Meddler, I think I can talk in the name of a large part of boards users (rare for me to agree with them!) in asking you to rather look at the biggest posts and clarify some questions that the community deems important and debatable. Now, obviously, it's important to go take a look at new posts from time to time, but when one isn't constructive and well-thought, a red post on the matter won't be very useful to the community in its entirety. Unless there was some recurring misinformation here that you really wanted to set out.

Garen gets a speed boost AND a silence all in the same ability along with a high scaling.

Fizz has no long cool downs so please dont lie and say "he has to time when he goes in." Because I hate liars.

Just call him the true antimage and give kassadin a different passive PLEASE and thank you

Udyr is just an annoyance of a champion, could care less for him.

So what does that make veigar then? Cause veigar picks and kills EXACTLY like fizz does. Ahri actually has to poke unlike a few other games tbh.

Urgot isnt a champion lol. You guys ruined him a while ago and have yet to fix it. Which is kinda sad tbh.

Bard is a bad champion. End of story. His heal sucks. Its basically ass with assy scalings. He is so fun to play. If you guys would only increase the amount of experience he got when he picks chimes up and then give him percentile healing he would function way better. Also lets talk about if an enemy champion walks over the heal, it should slow them. Give him more utility, make him desirable to play. dont let him sit there and rot like taric, poppy, twitch, evelynn, and Yorick did. Actually fix him. He is such a cool champion and has an amazing concept. But that only goes so far.

would like a response but most likely wont get one.

Thank you this is exactly what I'm talking about. Like how does everyone miss these facts and down vote. Even meddler ignored these facts. Though I appreciate him answering my questions but you just said the true facts that I failed to mention.

This whole comment is a mess...

  1. He said HIGHLY mobile, HIGH burst champions. Garen is neither of those. 1 speed boost (which still means he is vulnerable to CC, applying slows after he uses Q, etc) does not make him highly mobile. And it is not high scaling... it's 0.4 AD and damage range of 30-130.

  2. First off, saying "don't like I hate liars" just makes you sound like an ignorant child.. but also, Fizz's ult is 100 second CD at level one which is pretty decent cooldown. Not to mention that since the damage buff is on his ultimate, he has to be at least level 6, which meant his early game harassment was brought way down, and instead put it back into his late game, single-target identity.

  3. Where did Kassadin come into the picture? Veigar dealing more damage to mages and Kassadin taking less damage are two completely different things.. they both play against mages in different ways.

  4. Well, you could care less, which means you care a little.. but not enough to make an actual point here.

  5. "Veigar picks and kills EXACTLY like fizz does".... I don't even know what to do with this because they have vastly different patterns. Just because they both have single-target combos doesn't make them EXACTLY the same.

  6. Again, not really making a point here, but Meddler conceded that he needs to be worked on so there really isn't any progress to be made.

  7. The OP was talking about magical journey. Meddler responded to that ability. Then you go off about his heals.. completely irrelevant to the topic at hand.

Do you think about your comments before you write them or do you just regurgitate whatever comes to mind?

Can the case with urgot apply with eve when it comes to her kit rework? I feel like Evelynn is ALMOST as similar as to Udyr. Except, Udyr can get jobs done faster when it comes to practically anything because of his massive amount of utility he holds.

I've seen things on Trick2g's stream that made me question on why Udyr hasn't been nerf'd.

I actually don't mind Eve being similar to Udyr but I feel her ult is just beyond useless early game/mid game.

I hope that you put Urgot's ult on another champion down the line. I'm a big Urgot fan, and although I agree that his Ult doesn't fit with his overall playstyle, I think it's a really cool ult worthy of being on the game.

Garen - Has always had it and probably always will

Fizz - Increases his burst

Veigar - Designed to nuke apc's

Udyr - It's his kit?

Ahri - Was a little too strong to burst down targets

Urgot - He's a anti adc adc, its designed to let him outduel almost anyone

The bard idea does sound pretty fun though

Ahris burst was too strong but Fizz isn't wtf?

ahri is a kiting mage, fizz is an assassin.

Riot calls ADC's marksman...

LaoBushido1 votes

lets see garren - they just made a post about that....

fizz - it helps his lane dominance also it is a skill shot and it was nurfed kinda hard recently

veigar animage pick a ad mid against him

udyr - goes with his theme of the 4 guardians the north dragon west turtle east tiger and south phoenix a better question is why does he have a bear stance but hey ao shen

ahri it was given to ahri as comp for the removal of dfg along with the ms with q after a few patches riot felt she was given too mych comp so they remove the champ added damage

urgot - damage reduction and enemy adc surpessing and repostioning

that is something riot said they would work on but they have other bigger priorities
