Ward counter and the hate meter

I'm tired of trying to explain to people how many wards I have on the field when I'm capped out with the GST alone and they're still bitching that I'm not warding because "faggot support don't not got no sightstone." I'm seriously tired of it. Beyond tired, beyond exasperated, beyond everything.

I'll be blunt; put a ward counter somewhere on the HUD showing how many wards that player currently has on the field. If they can't see even that (which they probably won't, anyways), then they're just looking for reasons to bitch. Either way, it's a feature we seriously, dreadfully need at this point.

The hate meter, because I have no other name to give it, would be how many summoner spells and ults were used against you. I attract unholy shittons of hate in game. Enemies burn summoner spells, ults, even giving up baron, dragon, turrets and lives just to get even the slightest chance at killing me. Mind you, this isn't because of my performance, role or champion; it happens regardless. It's some kind of glamour about me (to use a ye olde term), because at this point a f**king wizard did it is my only explanation for what can only be described as divine hate, and I'd like to know just how much hate it is I'm attracting (using summoner spells and ults are considered a vast investment because of their extreme power and long cooldowns).

Seriously, you will not gain sympathy with hate speech. You can tell us that your allies verbally abuse you or whatnot, but writing out the same words that will get them banned only puts you on their level. Immediate downvote and report from me.

I really like your idea of a ward counter. That would be pretty easy to implement and would be good for players since they could see if they are warding less than the others. This might wake them up to how important it is to ward.

As for the hate meter, hate is a bad word. You should change it to focus, because you are being focused by the enemy team.

It sounds like your problem may be that you're not contributing to wards cleared. Yes, the Greater Stealth Totem can keep up in vision with a Sightstone, but it can't keep up in vision denial with the Sightstone+Sweeper combo.

As for attacking "hate," my guess is that you are always just a hair on the side of "too tempting to ignore." You stepped too close with just low enough health to be worth trying to kill. And of course, you stuck around just a hair to long to warrant letting go after just one Ult. If it really is the same regardless of role or champion, I bet you make an awesome tank for your team!

Like I said, it happens regardless, even if it means jumping into certain death or three or more enemy champions chasing me down while more important objectives are being taken, or they run into an ambush. And yeah, I do end up making a very good tank for exactly that reason. Tahm Kench and Braum have been a godsend.
