Can we limit Ez's Q?

The onhit is just... bogus.... Might as well get rid of his W, ult and autos if you're just going to front load every bit of power into one ability. I think being able to throw a decent ranged skillshot that can slip by minions every couple of seconds, there's has to be some take away. For instance, not applying onhits. But since that would be some form of heresy I'm come up with a compromise. Q can proc onhits every 2 or 50% of the time. (whether we want calculation or rng, up to you.) Alternatively, it could be limited to 1 onhit type, whichever item you complete first. item 3145 item 3057 item 1043 will not lock as the onhit of choice. Say you need to kill some tanks, then finish bork first. Need to keep enemies at arms reach? Build item 3025 first. How about some good o'le fashion damage, then rush item 3004. Then we can adjust other things as necessary, but the 500-700 qs need to stop.

An Ezreal who does not auto will do no damage after mid game.

I had one on my team. He rarely ever died, but was also useless af.

It might make my aggro time a bit easier as well

Ezreal W = 90 mana to do absolutely nothing

Maybe shift power in it, just maybe.

I used to think like this but... Ezreal's power lies on his passive as opposed to his skills, his W can give you 5 stacks instantly if you target your teammates + some enemies, this makes your AS (and every member of your team you hit) skyrocket during teamfights plus it does a small bit of damage and has no diminished damage from hitting more than one target.

It isn't a bad skill, like at all, but Riot has admitted that if they were to change one of Ezreal's skills it would be his W because there only burden of knowledge around it as opposed to actual gameplay

It used to also reduce attack speed of enemies that it hit and for a large amounts too, making him the best 1v1 adc in the game, so after it got removed the mana cost probably stayed and so did the kind of shitty W that is nowadays pretty useless for ADC Ezreal

If you ask me, he belongs in a museum.

You're acting like a ranged linear skillshot that only deals damage (before you build an expensive item that adds a slow) is some massive advantage the likes of which few kits have ever seen.

Let's look at some other adcs Ashe has a cone that is almost impossible to dodge, can easily hit multiple targets, has a longer range, and has a slow baked in with no additional items required. Caitlyn has a longer range, wider width skillshot that passes through enemies to deal AoE damage and has a much larger base damage and AD ratio Sivir passes through enemies to deal AoE damage and then bounces back to potentially have a much larger base damage and AD ratio on both hits combined

And that's before we start talking about mages who generally have extremely powerful hard cc tied to landing their skillshots.

This type of ability is a staple of champions with a ton of inherent counterplay and Ezreal's is only significantly more useful than the other ones mentioned because he builds around it.
