If Stark's Fervor or Zeke's Herald still existed today, do you think they'd be built?

Zeke's Herald

Zeke's Herald was an item that, while expensive and only efficient in certain niche situations, gave an aura that granted attack damage and life steal in an area around its holder. Its predecessor, Stark's Fervor, did not grant any attack damage, but it gave 20% attack speed instead, twice as much life steal, and 30 flat HP regeneration. Additionally, if there were enemies in the aura radius, their armor was reduced by a flat 20, kind of like the old Abyssal Scepter.

Do you think anyone would build either item if they existed in league today?

I used to build them all the time. I'm not sure about other people, but I would definitely go back to building them if they existed today. I really enjoyed the aura play-style. It felt rewarding to put gold into my allies. Now it's basically more beneficial to go raw damage on pretty much anyone. Kind of makes me sad :\

I used to build Stark's Fervor on Rammus as a last item if the game went long enough.

If it was Warden item. Health, Armor and Aura of Lifesteal and Armor Reduction. Then yes, probably would be broken.

You mean those rare cases where you have ADC on your team? Well damn... I wonder if people would waste gold to provide hundreds or thousands gold worth of stats for their teammates... item 3105 item 3001 item 3504 item 3107 item 3222 item 3107 item 3306

Sounds unlikely...

Pretty sure supports (Particularly Janna these Lulu young Soraka ladies) would build Zeke's Herald at some point during the game, not only to buff their demigod ADCS even harder, but because the extra 20% CDR and the 250 Health is really nice (especially on someone like Soraka).

Stark's Fervor seems kind of like a mess of an item really. It's meant to support those around you, but it also gives yourself 20% attack speed meaning that stat is wasted if you build it on a support.

Yeah probably as there weren't any conditions that needed to be met once your Purchase Zeke's Fervor. Aura's were OP because of how cost efficient they were once bought and you were around 1 or 2 allies. So yeah I would say you see them in a lot of matches if you were still items to this day. It'd be sleeper OP in the sense that you don't really need to do anything but stay in aura range.

Zeke's Herald would see some fun play too after people have encountered ziggs bot lane matches. You could see more of the same for that as that was the first support item that catered towards AP builders.

Truly an ancient gem from back in the day where riot didn't regard stats as "hidden power".

pfft.... what about Ionic Spark? If that existed, I'd totally build it.
