Why the fuck is he doing more damage than me? My cleaver and e should cancel some of his armour.
Instead I lose 1/3 of my hp he only loses 1/6.

RenownedWheat422 votesMax, you're reducing his armor by 24%. 90 bonus armor plus however much base armor he had at whatever level you two were at, and all you've reduced is maybe around 40 armor? Which means he's still got plenty to handle you. And he's got two defensive items to your one offensive item.
Now you've got nothing but your base MR to handle his offense. His damage is magic, and he's hitting you with presumably a full W and by what you said below, you're not dodging it, you're tanking it for some reason? So yes, you're eating all of his damage for free with no legitimate defenses, while he's eating all of yours but with the defenses to not really have to worry about it.

Here is the thing, I had 57 mr and he just had 100 ad and 0 ap, meanwhile I had a 150 total ad and he had 140 armour, which got reduced to 85 yet he still out damages me;
RenownedWheat421 votesOkay you're not really listening much here. It doesn't matter what Ornn's AP is, his W deals %hp damage. That's it. You have basically NO MR to handle that and at max rank it's hitting for like 16%? Plus when you're brittle, the next immobilize that hits you deals an additional like 13% of your hp in damage. So he's going to be chunking you for like 29% hp with a W and an auto all because you try to tank his stuff rather than avoid it. Now take into consideration he's got a shield to bear the brunt of your E, and that shield is equal to 12% of his total HP.
So even if you both ended up doing a total of 29% hp damage to one another, you're only managing to hit him for 17% (and even that's being incredibly generous) because a) he has a shield, and b) you're choosing to take damage you can avoid.

You probably also played it poorly. I know you've been playing it poorly throughout the game in general, since you apparently only had 57 MR. That's comically low W stacks for your first item, considering that you must've been at least like level 7 and would have had 38.2 at base. And you had conditioning active already, since you bought BC 12+ minutes in.
