Probably the worst thing about Autofill

Isn't that it autofills you no. It's that after you have been given your primary roles about 3-4 times and people keep dodging it throws in some random role sometimes.

Seriously just waited through 2 full lobbies. Got primary role, mid, first time, picked. After everyone is done, dodge. Get secondary role, top, ok so that's fine. Pick and after everyone has picked dodge. Welp. Get in 3rd game get autofilled as support. Waited almost 10 minutes to end up getting autofilled because people can't stop dodging at the last second.

I managed to help carry that game as thresh, but Jesus is it disheartening to think you got your roles so many times and just have someone dodge for you to end up filling anyways. Sure you get autofill protection, but the thing is Riot never fixed the many issues with it. Like how if the game is remade it consumes your autofill protection or how sometimes dodges do take away one of your autofill protection games.

I agree. Especially when you can't get mid often, and now when you get mid, someone dodges cuz they got autofilled into support/jungle/adc and can't play that role at all.

Don't forget to try and talk to your lobby. Sometimes people are willing to trade. Actually had a game where an adc main was autofilled top and tried to play Fiora. Turns out the adc would have traded, preferring top. Some people would even prefer support in some cases.

Would have to say the most interesting lobby I have been in was that two people actually wanted support and mid traded for it. The person who got mid wanted supp, the supp was willing to play supp, the jg normally supported but liked jg and the top who normally supps. We talked it out in lobby and set everyone up.

I agree with that... if they really want to keep autofill there at least they could make it so its a OPTION , I can play support but i dont always want to, prefering to mid /top. The worst thing about autofill is, generally when people get filled to support or whatever they dont want to, they usually get more Toxic, more Trolls, or others getting mad at them because they are not really good at (Filled spot). i honestly dont like this feature, i just want it gone too.
