What if Windwall had like a .25 second cast time?

Windwall isn't even a problem IMO. His real problem is the 100% lack of resource, combined with nearly non existent cooldowns. The windwall can be baited, but no matter how much I bait him I can't stop him from landing Q>AA>E>Q>AA>Q in the amount of time it takes me to jump on him and run away again, unless of course I manage to dodge the Q's - Which while very possible, is awfully hard against a competent Yasuo.

Sure, Windwall is annoying, but it's at least got a meaningful cooldown after which you have a window to engage. If not for the fact that his other stuff is never on cooldown. Especially when you throw his passive shield in there. Takes me 4-9 secs to have my poke/combo up again after I jump on him, and even that is too long for me to abuse him during the short time his shield is down(If he's any good, anyway.)

Not to say I think Yas is broken or anything, I tend to beat him. It's still annoying to play against.

Maybe even .5 seconds. That way its a more proactive combat choice rather than a reactive "outplay" button.

i would honestly just prefer it changed from blocking everything to just being a simple parry that could fill up his passive bar if it blocks something

having a wind version of braum standing there blocking many things especially in teamfights to me is just not fair and fun to play against which is one of the design paradigms

This is a great idea honestly because usually if you nerf Yasuos Q, E, or R the community will complain about him being way too weak. The W will make Yasuo play a little smarter in team fights, or he will just get crushed on.

Then his ability to function with his intended playstyle would be compromised. It is hard to change one thing in his kit without making him the weakest champion in the game.

What you should essentially be asking for is a rework. Which I wouldn't be in disagreement in some regards. I think yasuo is fine but he shouldn't have double crit chance built into his kit. But you can't take that away without gutting him. He would need an incredible compensation buff or perhaps the game needs to start going away from crit damage entirely. Then focus more on health% on hit items instead.... that would change the entire game and is a whole different topic though
