Time to nerf Gnar

I know I will get a lot of hate for this post, but it's true. Gnar is just too strong right now. He has the same problem as Ekko, way too may things in his kit.

Long range attack with a slow. Check. Percent max health damage. Check. Increased movement speed. Check. Mobility with built in single target damage. Check. CD reduction. Check. Another long range attack with AoE damage and slow. Check. 1.25 second AoE stun with damage. Check. More mobility with AoE damage and slow. Check. Another AoE stun with damage. Check.

Let's face it, his kit is loaded to the gills. His weaknesses. Kind of squishy in mini gnar form, but good luck catching him. Being able to predict when he changes form. That's really it. Counterpicks: Quinn (who is rarely if ever played) and Irilia (if she is really good). That's pretty much it. Everything else is a skill matchup at best. He is very hard to kill in either form because he either gets away or is just way too tanky. Plus you can't get away from him due to his mobility and slows in either form. Who can honestly argue that he doesn't need nerfing.

Listing the abilities of any champ doesn't show that they are OP.

What does show that Gnar is OP is how often he is picked/banned... which is often. Gnar/Rumble top meta needs to die.

True, but I wanted to show how complete his kit is.

Rumble has a really good kit as well.

The problem I see with him is that his intended drawback, unable to control his transformation, never seems to be a real problem for him. Mini Gnar is absurdly safe and can build up rage very quickly if you try to ignore him.

Exactly, he is very safe in either form. That makes facing him a nightmare. You can never get fed in a Gnar lane unless the player is horrible.

I Support Animal Rights! Animal Humane Society Advocate, stating in protest to picking on Gnar Gnar . With what Gnar Gnar owns, this is all IGnar have.

So, Riot League of Legends mad the decision to amp me Gnar up as being a Champion with a tough take down skill set similar to a big enemy Boss. Why coward in "nerfing" requests to take me Gnar down? Why not increase your skill set and take me Gnar down with combat facility integrity?

Skill set doesn't help much when Gnar has an answer for anything you throw at him.

Then please include all of the following Champions: Karthus Leona MasterYi Garen Riven Ahri Vi Yasuo

Just some of the few, will never be killed by a portion of the Riot League of Legends Populations online video gamer's. This is noted since not all people own the same masteries or rune pages to help coordinate with their skills in taking out these champions listed above. From: FuryofThornsRedo

Karthus just buy item 3102 and you beat him. Leona does no damage. MasterYi CC him and he dies. Garen is tough, you have to beat him early. Just counter with a ranged top. Riven totally broken right now. Need major nerfs and a rework. Ahri is way too safe. Needs some counterplay. Vi needs a nerf to either her tankyness or her damage. She shouldn't have both. Yasuo is broken. Needs a rework.

Alright, solid points, and information I was not expecting. Thank you!

I play Gnar at times, and with my skill set, there seems to be at least with me, just enough of a strong skill set to earn a few kills. I just to not believe in gutting any Champion. I think all of them own what they own for the reasons why the creators formulate the skills sets for each Champion. Whether a small Champion as Gnar is owning what he owns to help depict the Rage Gnar embraces from his innate skills.

I just do not believe in gutting, dismantling, striking down, demeaning, devaluing, deconstructing Gnar ! What Gnar owns along with his ability to take out enemies continue to be his showcase spotlight on Summoner's Rift helpful in illustrating to the enemy, Stay Away From Me Gnar !

He doesn't need gutting, just some adjustments. While in mini form, he should do less damage since he has great mobility and poke. In mega form, he should definitely do less damage since he is one of the tankiest champions in the game, has 2 CCs, and a ranged attack.

I continue to disagree. If the Avengers were to ever think the Hulk needed a nerf ever, I am thinking they would try to persuade the Hulk in keeping his true form, even though the human being sees the Hulk as a concern or less than those who the Hulk saves their life when he is huge green and amped with rage.

So in that sense, why take away from what Gnar I own, in what Gnar am, in how Gnar I am, and with Gnar ability to emulate some of the other top quality champions without a sword or weapon? ( A few Champions with greatness I try to emulate or combat in near great level of awesome: Shen Varus Yasuo )
