well it'd be mostly if you want more crit after getting say just triforce or if your like zed or talon and have ghostblade. or without any crit item just with runes. you could reach about 20% crit from boots runes alone. like lets say your shen and don't scale at all with ad. crit is your way to boost your auto attacks. along with devourer/ or wits end /rageblade. toss in atmas into the mix. Shen build: (NEW ATMAS) I'd be good on tryndamere there are a lot of builds that could work on him with items that have no crit. like zephyr/rageblade instead of phantom dancer/shiv. I think it could be cool considering IE crit got nerfed it would make sense to have 8 or 10% crit boots. with maybe a passive that makes your crit do percentage damage on every hit instead. or maybe a portion (say 10%-30%) of your crit damage is converted to magic damage which you can't lifesteal off of to sort of make it less op. and to make it more tank oriented, such that its good on champions like irelia/shen/xinzhao/aatrox/trynd/(critwick)/mastery Yi (all have build in heal) who don't need the lifesteal. Maybe make the new atmas build from seeker's armguard Trynd:

new atmas: + gain 2% crit chance per 5% cdr (excludes blue buff?) or includes it w/e

i dont know ... but anything tanky with crit really.

i would like me some crit boots.
