On Playful Trickster
I think that the way certain champions or abilities are presented to the player matter just as much if not more so than the actual champion or ability itself and the level of frustration several players have expressed against Fizz's Playful Trickster is a prime example of this.
Throughout League there are several champions that can change the "state" of themselves or another player.

transforms into a ball of lightning
Transforms herself and allies into ghouls
These are just some examples. Throughout each of these examples, the player in question remains vulnerable to attack, either via auto-attacks or skillshotts/AOE damage.
Bard, transforms into a celestial ball of light, can die to a crossbow bolt from Vayne Kennen, becoming the physical embodiment of lightning, can be melee'd by Garen Senna, becoming a spectre of dark mist, can still die to a Draven ult.
Fizz hops three feet upwards and balances on a pole and is suddenly immune to nearly everything.
If he like, had a fountain of water spraying around him deflecting all projectiles or something it might not be as annoying
