How come Heimerdinger is never played in high level tournaments like LCS?

Because his kit doesn't work in high level play and is easily countered. Heimerdinger is a straight up solo q champ and excels in laning phase. After laning phase, he does.... Nothing.

Yeah he is annoying to play against and that's it. Even if you're a melee top, just build magic resist and you win. And his push is so exploitable. Heimer even loses to jungle ganks severely. Only lower level play does he look dangerous.

But the worst part is his late game. His poke is bad, his CD on his spells is too high, easily avoidable team fights when he puts down his paper turrets that die in one hit late game, turrets do not have scaling armor and magic resist and is also smiteable, his spells are easy to dodge with high mana cost, unlike other champions he falls super behind when he loses to lane as other champions can easily come back.

This guy needs buffs in the long run.
