someone on the team can be super duper fed, but because one person is doing bad they think things are over unless they get strong and completely lose their team the game because
"im not doing good therefore nobody is doing good."
Trust me, it doesn't get much better in Platinum.
I think the problem with low elo largely the blame game. Most bad players don't know how to play from behind which leads to the blame game when mistakes are made.
Silver is obnoxiously bad and when my smurf was in in silver it was really tough playing through some of those games because of the team hate.
I recently played a ranked game on my main and somehow got matched with 2 (not 1), but 2 silver players. Sure enough one of them fed and the other one was extremely toxic the whole time.
At first I thought "this is uncharacteristic from a high gold player" and then I looked up their stats and sure enough the toxic player was silver and the feeder was also silver.
I was really baffled why I got paired with them and the only thing I could consider is that it was due to a dynamic queue, but it didn't seem like any of the players in the game were a duo based on teamwork or pleasantries so I was at a loss.
