Some thing league should try to learn from HotS

  1. EXTREME DIVERSITY OF CHARACTERS I THINK IM WORDING THIS CORRECTLY Ok so I was playing HotS recently (Heros of the Storm) and I was just looking around in the shop. I saw these really unique ideas for the MOBA characters. One of them rarely leaves base which sounds awesome. Like maybe its just me that has those times where they're like, UGH I WISH I COULD HELP MY TEAM WITHOUT MOVING. Well with that guy you could. There was also this other character that was extremely weak but re-spawned every 3 seconds as long as he had his passive down. It sounds like a great pushing champion ( of course you would probably have to make it so hes worth like 50% less gold cus HotS doesn't have gold that's why he is viable). There were also this one character that was 3 different ones combined. There were two ranged ones and one meele. I just think that there are so many types of different characters in HotS that really push the limits.

  2. NO MATTER WHAT I ALWAYS FEEL USEFUL Because your team and you are always the same strength I never feel like I should just sit this team fight out and farm because I'll just insta die. I always think is HotS, Ok so no matter what im doing I know it will be useful so I should either split while my team is stalling at objectives (towers in that game give you a lot of exp so it's really smart to split push but they make it so you can't end without your full team because of how strong the Nexus/Base is) or help in the team fight because my character is better for that.

  3. THERE ARE NO ASSITS EVERYONE FEELS EQUAL They make it so in HotS when ever someone gets a final hit on a enemy character it doesn't count as a kill to one person and a assist to everyone else, but instead a Takedown for everyone that was there and even the people who weren't there get exp for it because everything is shared. They also make it so there are no solo penta kills, when you kill the entire enemy team its a team penta kill. It really makes everyone feel a lot more equal, like no one is superior to me.

  4. THERE AREN'T SUMMONER SPELLS Honestly summoner spells were a stupid idea in the first place. You should just put flash and teleport (all the good summoners) on items for more item diversity. The game really needs more diversity.

Losing to your lane opponent because the other lanes are doing well, thus making your opponent who is out performing you scale better is kind of dumb. I like the effort for reward in League.

I get that MOBA's are team games, but rewarding some other player for someone else's effort, is like Communism.

Doesn't matter the effort you put into your job, you're being paid the exact same amount as say, someone who slacks off and drags their ass.

HotS never seemed fun to me. There's no doing well in a lane since there is only a difference in Exp, which everyone gets, so there is nothing to feel good about severely beating your opponent into the ground and becoming God with items and Levels.

When it comes to diversity I'd leave HotS's diversity away from League's. They have different things, and that's what makes each other unique.

When it comes to the "takedown" I feel like HotS's is an Kindergarten teacher holding everyone's hand and the players are the children. "Everyone is a winner!" the teacher says to the children, as they cheer their youthful screams.

The whole "being behind" is a reason why "Getting ahead" is desired. It adds the pressure in lane for people to strive to kill each other. It's what makes doing well help win the game.

I have no opinion on summoners, personally. I don't like the idea of it being an item though. Something that utility based shouldn't have to be bought over items that actually have an impact.

Hey man, everyone's got their own opinions. If someone downvotes my opinion, because they have their own opinion, that is fully within your right.
