How much harder is ryze than brand

Ryze is a champion with multiple combos. Of you really think about it, brand also has multiple combos but I think ryze has more. The only thing about ryze is unless your high elo or your duo'd with a friend, your ult does little except an occaisional gank due to its short range lvl 1 and it's telegraphed. Ryze is a hypercarry battle mage still but healthier than all his previous kits. What people dont resize is to do the max damage on brand, you need to start with e then q then w.most people start with w. That's his wave clear combo. Teamfight is ult then damage who whoever didn't die. I just landed my full damage combo. Have fun exploding. if you just want cc, just use anything bit q then use q to stop them and let someone kill them. Ryze has anti escape, escape, damage, and waveclear but I don't think he's a team fighter. He's still a duelist. So how much harder is ryze to pull off than brand really.

Brand whacks his face into the keyboard and backs off if you're not dead (which you will be, otherwise his cooldowns are so low he'll walk right up to you and slap you with another full combo in 2-3 seconds). Ryze has to land his combos right and he has skillshots that have actually dodgeable hit registration, besides rarely building rylai's so he actually has counterplay.

Basically Ryze takes skill to play and opens up for counterplay from equal level opponents, where Brand just clicks "delete" unless you're playing a high burst champion such as Camille nerfed, no longer capable of 1v1ing brand or abusing other broken champions such as Katarina.

Brand is not a faceroll. Remember how I said people do his full combo wrong. It's e>q>w and not w>q>e Waveclear is w>e Brand runs in ults and watches a michel bay movie in teamfights then full damage combos whoever isn't dead. Also brand is skillshot reliant. His q is no harder to land than a ryze q and you need to time your w. So brand builds kind of tanky since those items synergize with his kit well like rylais and liandrias. You can even look at roa, or a hex tech item but not gunblade.

Here's the thing, however. Brand can build item 3027 or item 3116 (though he often gets both, but he only needs one) and easily shred any single target with his E and Q alone. He doesnt need to land his full combo - two spells will usually drop any opponent other than Galio to around 50% health.

No matter what combo he goes through, as long as he hits three spells the passive will make sure his target is usually dropped to 10-30% depending on wether they're a tank or a squishy. Yes, from full health. Usually happens around level 4 and continues for the rest of the game.

And should you miss your combo, all you have to do is press R and slap an ignite on them and that one spell will usually handle them anyways.

Compared to most other mages in the game, Brand IS faceroll.

Pushing t just as a last spell is a waste if it's just 1 guy. I use it when there's more people in one spot. Think about it. Each bounce applies 1 stack of your passive and so do the explosions and they can cause a chain reaction. Also brand support op XD.

The thing is, there is very, very rarely "one guy". There will almost allways be some nearby unit that the ultimate can chain to, wether it be a lane minion or a jungle monster.

I would say a lot more difficult. Brand fires his combo and then backs off for a bit to breathe while Ryze has to be constantly firing skillshots off and thinking about if he needs to pause and get a shield or maximize his dps.

Plus: Ryze's ult may be the most strategically 'deep' ability in the game and also requires really quick decision-making to get any use out of it.

Much harder, Brand actually ha to aim half his kit.

Who is, brand or ryze. Brand is skillshot reliant but ryze has more combos and can't teamfight as good and decide on sheld or damage.

Brand is harder due to his high cool downs and low mobility (has to rely on stuns to escape, no movement speed boosts) he has burst to deal with these, but you would have to hit the combo. Ryze is fairly easy, he does have some thought into it, but not much. He can press e once or twice, press Q, use his w if he needs to get around obstructions, but he doesn't have much skill to it. Fairly simple design, he's a 450 IP anyways... Meant to be played by newbies (Riot depicts Ryze to be a low skill champion)

Brand and Ryze are both champions I play frequently.

I would say Ryze requires much more intense micro. You need to consistently reposition yourself every few seconds, while maximizing your damage and utility at the same time. You need to strike a good balance between DPS and MS/shielding. There's also the ultimate which requires communication skills with your team. If you practice a lot, you will become skilled and carry games.

Brand is probably the most similar champion there is. To play Brand, his only form of hard CC is a skillshot, so you need to aim well. While Ryze's is point-click. His Blaze works a lot like Flux, but requires more macro management rather than micro. The success of Brand mainly relies on your opponent's mistakes, rather than your own plays. Hopefully they don't dodge your spells and clump together.

Overall, I consider Ryze to have a higher skill potential than Brand.
