would it be so bad if you could lifesteal off nashor's tooth

Would work the same way Nidalee 's q works. or fizz q now too can both lifesteal off magic damage.

Won't lifesteal off the mastery that like nashor though. Just would really like to try it on Udyr , since he has low ap ratios would be nice to derive something else out of nashors. True it would give him CDR and AS, but can get that elsewhere not enough to really rival alternatives.

It would be a lot like botrk passive. But you have to devote a separate item to get the lifesteal while botrk has it in the item. Udyr mid boys? item 3115 item 3153 item 3174 item 3800 item 3026 item 3047 item 3115 item 3146 item 3174 item 3078item 3143 item 3111

item 3124 item 3116 item 3115 item 3110item 3102 item 3111

Or just use his turtle stance to lifestealitem 3065 item 3115 item 3078 item 3027 item 3075

Udyr benefits tremendously from CDR too which nashor provides and his q can spellvamp for 100% efficiency making gunblade/rageblade great options to pair with it. Yet they aren't being built much on him.

Few items bridge ap and ad that well. Seems to me an attack speed item like item 3115 would be well suited for that role.

It wouldn't be logical even if it's not broken. Lifesteal has a specific definition and so does Spellvamp.

No less logical than Nid or fizz q though which both apply lifesteal. You can spellvamp on ad spells why can't you lifesteal off ap on hit effects.
Or maybe create another nashor that just does ad DMG instead? Makes it so you convert 15% of ap into ad on hit damage and can be affected by thormail. Maybe you could toggle it, or when purchasing you would have two options to choose from.

Right now Spellvamp is broken and needs to be reworked. I do agree however that magic damage on AA should apply Spellvamp. Include Devourer Enchant and Wit's End, and champion passives in there too, alongside Nashor's Tooth. It'd also be quite sweet if ALL magic damage on AA could affect turrets.

I sort of feel you on spellvamp and don't. three months ago i might of been in agreement. Spellvamp is a lot like ludens echo. On certain champions its quite effective while on others not so much hence the current pbe changes to its charging up.
on the one hand though I think those few championsJax AkaliCassiopeia Vladimir were designed to thrive off spellvamp and we should learn to deal with them as such. a bit like kat and master yi are strong but can be dealt with with hard cc. Its not like there aren't options either with ignite and morellonomicon as well as some champions with reduced healing in their kits although i think there could be more. What if there was an item with hard cc for someone like kat or yi, but that would be broken. While at least there's a means to counter high sustain champs. Perhaps certain champions could have it such that they have reduced healing on enemy at 33% health incorporated in their kits.

The champions i listed are like a Swain or a Volibear , but a bit more item dependent than them to reach similar sustain levels. and they can't be cced to spellvamp either while a swain just needs his ult up and voli has it automatically below 50% health.

i honestly don't know anymore. Devourer is a really strong item. I know it was nerfed but remember the old wriggles back when it heal for a 1 for 1 ratio granted that was not by a percentage like 20% spellvamp is but still. lifesteal at least is not as easy to obtain. and the more lifesteal you get the less you so there's a sort of built in cap mechanism that would keep it from being op since you need more ap to get most out of nashor.
not even sure if wits end would be okay either. I would rather wits end be buffed in other way like i pointed out in this thread.

we could really use this bridging. a lot of champs have ap ratios and there are few items that give good incentives for getting a bit of both into your build.

k i made this picture, attached such that you could build nashors out of either item 1043 or item 3101 imgur link

Stats if built out ofitem 1043 : +60% attack speed (or 50% AS +5% MS) +60 ability power

Passive UNIQUE: +10% cooldown reduction

UNIQUE: Basic attacks deal 15 (+ 15% AP) bonus Physical damage on hit

item 3153 's on hit effects scales off of the enemy's hp. this would scale off your AP.

could work on a lot of champions like: MasterYi (assuming you can make good use of W, would be cool if his alpha strike got a bit of ap again less than before though of course we all remember how toxic the old ap yi was, but right now there's literally no reason to get ap on yi the ap ratio on his w feels awkward shows that his kit was reworked and that riot didn't know what to do with him) Irelia Poppy WarwickTryndamere XinZhao (hybridTwistedFate) (Shen with zeke's herald perhaps. )
