Tristana's Rocket Jump

Not sure if this should be in bugs or gameplay, but I've been noticing lately that Tristana's Rocket Jump is overriding grabs and knockups when timed exactly right. If the cast animation begins, but she's not in the air before she's struck, she gets to complete the jump without detriment.

I'm writing this as I watch my friend play Blitzcrank and continually have his landed grabs/punches ignored by Rocket Jump. He's not missing, either.

If it's a bug, then hopefully this means more exposure for it, as my computer is on the lean side of tech and can't handle recording games without having a seizure.

If not...why is she getting a frame of CC immunity on Rocket Jump? That seems completely counter-intuitive and overpowered.

Didn't it always do that, similarily to Ezreal's Arcane Shift?

The reason being that the cast animation prior to the skill going off is not a channel, and thus cannot be interrupted. At the end of said cast animation, the moveblock triggers, negating all previous moveblocks.

Is this what you're observing?
