So, why does Shyvana's Burnout tick once per second?

Title. Most over-time damage effects, both AoE and DoT, tick at least per half-second. I'm just curious as to why Shyvana's would be like that.

Why does Hecarim's Ultimate make him Immune to CC while Shyvanna's can be interrupted by a mild breeze?

It's because Shyvana was released back in the day when damage over time was always one tick each second. Personally I would be okay if her Burnout ticked every half second, dealing half of it's damage each half second, so that despite the change she is still doing the same damage, just more consistent.

Sure, it would also be nice to get some info on her ult, but I really want to know why her AoE does slow ticks.

How come shyvana's dragon form is so ridiculously horrible at pathing? If there are two minions or some kind of object in your way to your target, don't expect to reach it even with burnout. Phantom dancer is mandatory just to deal with it.
