We should be able to mute enemies emotes

Just annoying and distracting when enemies spam emotes, if we could "mute" them (not see them) i wouldn't have to report them afterwards.

You can The ingame mute option disables them

{quoted} i wouldn't have to report them afterwards.

Riot doesn't give a damn about people being salty that their enemies are spamming the emote, it exists to be used

then in the post clarified as "not see them"

it's not being salty, its reporting it for what it is: Unsportsmanlike Attitude.

"gg ez"

Riot doesn't give a damn about people being salty because an enemy only said one line all game.

If you think the tiniest of insults counts as toxicity, so should emote spamming or ping spamming.

I don't think "gg ez" is toxic. I also don't think spamming emotes or pings are toxic. But it is extremely annoying and I wish I could mute it.

Troll for Trump1 votes

Most people unfortunately think it's toxic. Therefore it's punishable.

PDE5 Inhib1 votes

Last I saw, rito said it by itself wasn't punishable.

Troll for Trump1 votes

Really? I thought it was the opposite.

Lyte said it at least, and everyone knows what Lyte says is always right

Basically he said it's only acceptable if you play ez...

PDE5 Inhib1 votes

Yes, he said it is reportable (at the same time "unskilled" was reportable). But he did not say that it, by itself, will get you punished. And then this guy said it by itself won't get you punished. That leads to me believe that it, by itself, won't get you punished. Now, the kids that typically say, "gg ez" are also spamming chat with "nuub" and "fuking suck jg" when they are 0-8-2 on Fizz after 10 mins. Then they say, "gg ez" at the end of the match like they actually did something.

Troll for Trump1 votes

So...a long-winded, technical ambiguous answer.... ok.

PDE5 Inhib1 votes

Long winded? Not even close.

"GG EZ" won't, in itself, lead to punishment.

Pretty short if ya ask me.

As someone who plays Shaco as his jungler, I need that to tilt enemies or else my champion is a lot less impressive

Being put into stasis actually disables the use of emotes, so I guess you should start maining Bard.

On a related note, it would be interesting if becoming silenced also disabled your emotes. Would make a lot of sense tbh.

if only you could mute pings as well - I swear that guy who just randomly spams pings is SO annoying - and the fact you can't do anything about it, and reporting him won't go through the system u_u

hopefully if enough people do it, i mean, the report for "Unsportsmanlike Attitude" button is there for a reason.
