because even though I didn't actually met with a on an enemy team, I've heard testimonials of people that say that he is too strong and impossible to deal with, and is an instawin for anyone that has him on their team.

Even though he CAN be banned, I am not always the first pick, and I can never ensure that the first picks on either team will ban Skarner. Also, the ban that I am using on Skarner I could be using for other arguably broken champions such as Kayle or Riven or Ryze.

Is it safe to play ranked until the hotfix comes?

you have 3 bans. just talk to your captain. they will usually listen.

It is actually somewhat difficult to make them listen. For example, I almost always ask for them to ban Katarina, and some captains don't listen. She may not be broken at high levels of play where people have enough team coordination to shut her down, but at the elo where I am, she is still broken. Everytime there is a Kat on the enemy team I see myself being forced to instalock Cho'Gath because he is the best counter to her. Katarina is ridiculously understimated at my elo.

maybe they intend to play a champion that counters her. if someone asks me to ban kat and i intend to pick a champion who can shut her down, i wont ban her either. otherwise i tend to listen to my team when im at the ban trigger.

kat isnt exactly op, just strong against certain teamcomps.

otherwise, skarn is a special case right now. because hes generally strong and his spires make him snowbally.

I understand your fear it is more than warranted, believe me, he is practically Godmode atm, they say that juggs are immobile, but I've seen Skarner catch a Yi that ulted, drag him back and litterally defecate all over him, so much for being immobile.

Not to mention they are near unkillable, this is also true. And yes, they will melt you. What I don't understand is how Skarner can be a jugg when he has massive CC? Can someone explain this to me?

I've banned him everytime I've been team captain today, him and rango as I can't stand dealing with them as ADC, one I can shoot for half an hour without killing, the other just jumps out anywhere and kills me before he lands. :,>

What's even worse is that the only game I played today with Skarner in it, had me so salty I literally cheered (to myself) when one of his teammates left the game allowing us to roll over them with numbers and win the game (partually also because for once the leaver wasn't on my team).

But then again, freelo abusers don't deserve better. :>
