What were you thinking exactly. Better off what were you smoking cause i need some of that. Not that she is broken she is either god tier or garbage tier so i think it's enough indication it's a bad design

The same thing they were thinking when they made yasuo.

Except then kalista became a problem in competitive, and thanks to them she's in the current state(and I do mean this as a thanks, this champion is cancer).

Unfortunately yasuo has more serious counters which prevent competitive play from nerfing him to shit, unfortunately for us.

The only problem with Yasuo is his wall. i've been over this the rest of his kit just a mobilie fighter. But his wall is indeed cancer especially late game where you dont have that much room to reposition inclose fights

Yeah, the wall is a real pain.

If it was more limited, it would be significantly less of an issue. My main annoyances with it are:

It blocks projectiles from all directions rather than just one
It blocks projectiles from the moment it was cast rather than when it hits the ground

If one of those were no longer true, I would find it considerably less annoying.

not conserned by that i prefer Yasuo vs any other shitty meta champion. At least Yasuo is gona dash around like a retard and he might fk up. What about a kennen pressing E and ulti and destroying you effortlessly?

That's the thing, you RELY on him to mess up, what happens if he doesn't? what happens if his reflex+ping aren't shit? what if he's not an idiot?

What about a kennen pressing E and ulti and destroying you effortlessly?

cc generally stops him from doing that, and he doesn't have free dashes and windwall to reflex check incoming cc.

Its not like everybody and their mum did know that this passive was going to be unbalanceable to the point where they had to add a negative passive effect onto it (10% less damage on aas). OH WAIT EVERYBODY TOLD RIOT THAT THE PASSIVE WAS GOING TO BE BULLSHIT AND NOT BALANCEABLE. But riot didnt care, released her with that bullshit, had to poppy her and now we can only wait for her rework, but this will take time because kalista isnt old enough to make the bullshit " lol she is just old and doesnt fit the game anymore so we rework her" excuse. She will stay poppied for a season and then get a rework, and thx god we dont have to see her anymore, when she was good she completly warped the game simply by existing. " do we have 5 champions with point and click hard cc to deal with kalista? Nah, better surr 20 then hehe xd"

To be fair we said the same thing about yasuo, and we've been suffering ever since.

Kalista's only(compared to yasuo) problem is that she isn't samurai weaboo shit to appeal to more players.

either you crush stuff with no counterplay or your stats are so weak you can't do anything there is no balanced for her kit so id say definitely broken

It'd be easy to blame all frustrating champions on one designer, but that's not the case.

CertainlyT is the target for most boards hate though since he designed Darius, Yasuo, Thresh, etc. Not to mention his history with the Mordekaiser rework.

I don't hate his designs. They do a good job at shaking things up and are pretty unique most of the time. Balancing them is a whole other department.

gypselord is the guy we have to burn alive then. certainlyT is good at making annoying to deal wth but overall balanced champions. specially thresh is one of the best designs on the game
