Forget Sona, ADCs or poke mages in ARAM. Matchmaking is the real problem and it's unbearable. How is forcing Gold/Platinum players match against Diamond/Master players is fair? And I have seen even worse matchups.

SurgicalStriker2 votesa lot of high ranked people get high ranked from specializing in just a few champs. A diamond player in aram with a character they have never played won't be a whole lot better off than a silver with some experience. If you use the programs that show their ranks, you probably also notice most people end up with characters they have less than 10 games played as. ARAM is more about team comp than individual player skill.
HP Crookshanks1 votesA high ranked player usually have more experience/mastery points than a lower ranked player and I am sure a Master assassin (the weakest class in ARAM) is much more useful than a Gold ADC (the strongest class in ARAM).
