rito back at it again with over nerfing champions

Jhin Whisper (Passive) Base Movement speed from crits reduced to 3% from 10% Attack speed ratio increased to 6% movement speed per 10% attack speed from 4% MS per 10% AS.

Deadly Flourish (W) AD ratio lowered to 50% from 70% Damage to minions and monsters increased to 75% from 65%

Curtain Call (R) [tool tip no longer mentions "If canceled early, Curtain Call's cooldown is refunded by 10% for each unused shot."

So... because jhin lost his biggest counter Lucian he has become a top tier adc... but by top tier adc i don't mean he is a champion that carries games, but sets up his team to carry. Jhin is already an immobile adc that is limited by an ammo system with majorly delayed skills and is only being picked in competitive because his utility is outshining the actual hyper carry champions in the game (oh and because he can abuse the armor pen itemization which they could easily fix by making duskblade a melee only item). I get the nerf on his ult, just like ashe he has access too it far too often, but to nerf his ult, his passive and his w all at one time, without trying to see if 1 if not 2 of them would be enough to cut down his dominance is just lazy. With the changes to his passive you are virtually making him extremely unsafe early game, not very good mid game and if you survive that because every assassin, tank, and bruiser is going to be gunning for you every fight, you MIGHT make it to late game where his passive will be about the same. On top of that you buff a champion that is arguably a counter to jhin, Jinx which will only help her to counter jhin, she he is getting a double helping if "fuck you".

TL:DR

  1. Too many nerfs at one time.
  2. Alot of problems could be solved by making duskblade melee only and CD increase on his ult.
  3. Not ruining his passive which already is unreliable early game.
  4. Buffing one of his counters just gives him a double helping of "fuck you".

It's hardly overnerfing. The rest of Jhin's damage is untouched and this just reduces his safety from his MS whenever he crits or lands his W.

you are pretty much just restating what the nerfs say...

Worlds is coming and there is no need to see every game Jhin and Ashe. He will probably get buffs, if they remove DFT from the masteries the next season.

ashe is also getting nerfed, like i said they can nerf his utility, longer cd on ult, no cd reduction from not using shots but the rest of his kit doesnt need to be touched, his ult is the ONLY reason he is in competitive at all. Him and ashe fill the same roll, use ult to catch people for your team and maybe get lucky and get kills if you are handed them, you never see a jhin running in 1v5ing a team like a hyper carry kog maw or jinx

TL;DR if riot doesn't instantly nerf someone hard, people get mad. If they nerf someone hard instantly, people get mad.

nerfing 3 things at one time is sloppy work, look how many times they nerf champions and end up going back and re buffing them because they "uner tuned them a little bit" which is exactly what they are rebuffing naut because they did this exact thing to him.

would you rather have little love taps like what they did with ekko?

ekko was absurdly over powered, jhin is not. jhin fell into flavor after his counters got nerfed and the meta shifted in his favor, he was never over powered and a champion doesnt magically become over powered, when things get nerfed other things go up in strength, lucians nerfs allowed jhin to be more prominent, but hyper carries like kog and jhin will always have more impact and carry ability than jhin will ever have.

Into flavor? I read your post and i realized that you would never understand why he needed nerfs and why he got nerfed.

It's just the pbe, if the nerfs really are too much they will tone them back a little.
