Honestly, I love it when people think tanks are dead/weak.

I primarily play tanks and fighters in the jungle, so it means that I don't have to worry about my champions being picked/banned and the enemy teams tend to lack initiation/utility.

This typically means that my team has an advantage in initiation, peel and durability over the enemy team simply because I picked a tank. While the enemy team might have more raw damage, the utility and initiation I provide will inhibit the enemy team while leaving mine free to kill them all.

Honestly, you don't need as much damage to kill an all-squishy enemy team, anyway.

I personally think that this "tanks are weak" nonsense comes from the fact that full damage teams tend to be fairly obnoxious to play against if they get ahead. And since we, as humans, keep the bad experiences better in mind than the good ones, people complaining about tanks being weak tend to forget the other 3 games in which the balanced team smashed the all squishy team into a million little pieces.

Tank meta still hasn't died. Still got a long way to go until rito realizes the tank items offer too much for these champs.

Besides, competitive games are vastly different than regular league (the other 98% of players)

The only tank in there was Shen lol

I guarentee he was the only one who built full tank (if any of them did at all) and I didn't even watch the match
