Fiora's % True damage would "maybe" be tolerable if her Riposte...

Didn't make her immune to ALL types of damage AND crowd control effects. Who even thought to put that on her while she deals a considerable amount of damage and has a heal too? The only champions who have a damage block is Jax and Master Yi, but it's not to an extent that they aren't vulnerable to anything. Jax can still be hit by spells and Master Yi is vulnerable to mitigated damage and crowd control. If she parried all BASIC attacks and has a slight reduction to spells (meaning you can still land crucial damage on an assassin), then things would be fine.

However, that's not the only thing that is frustrating... If her Riposte hits you, you have reduced movement and ATTACK speed. Did she really need to have an attack speed slow? Even Darius lost his attack speed reduction after his rework. Not only that but if she absorbs hard CC, she gets a stun, which in my opinion is just too powerful in most cases since she already does % true damage and has a heal post-6.

Riot or Meddler... Or any Rioter lurking around... Did she really need that much power pasted into this one ability?

It is worth noting that if Fiora uses Riposte, and you DON'T attack her; she wastes the skill and gets nothing out of it besides the basic damage and the slows (which you can sidestep anyway), which will probably lead to her death shortly after since Riposte DIDN'T block anything important.

If she didn't have Riposte, Fiora PROBABLY wouldn't work out (or at the very least would need to be built very tanky to do anything in fights; since she'd otherwise just die instantly, kinda like Yi when he isn't untargetable)

That said I still hate her with a passion, I detest her % max health true damage SLIGHTLY less than Vayne's; since at least Fiora has to put in a reasonable amount of effort to get it.

Actually her riposte is probably her most interesting skill. I mean, it's not like it's really all that easy to land and really only stops one thing. So it's just part of what you need account for while playing against her. Maybe the attack speed slow would be worth taking off.

Now that's not to say she's not too strong right now but it's more in other areas than that ability.

Riot's design team is on drugs. That is the best answer you will find for why they have been doing the stuff they've been doing lately.

I hate pretty much her entire kit. It is all inherently flawed. The True damage needs to be toned down like hell because not only does it have AD SCALING. It scales off your enemies max hp which is a type of damage that cannot be countered. Then maybe you can make her W not make her invulnerable which is complete BS as well.

Jax and Yi are not the only other champions with damage blockers, there's a lot of them.

Garen, Yorick, Galio, Alistar, Pantheon, Teemo, Quinn, Nocturne, Sivir, to name them off the top of my head.

The thing that annoys me most is, I was in a 1v1 against a Fiora about to kill her so I drop my ignite. She riposte's the ignite and kills me. Fun times.
