Who is the weakest supp champ right now?
Title
Title
Weakest meta support, probably Leona. Id say Braum, but Braum atleast has his shield, and deals more damage than Leona.
As a long time support main, if we are talking about diamond to master elos, I would say :
would be the weakest at the moment
not in a good spot either
if you want to clim through low elos, consider

If you are in high elo and want to stay stable :
are your go to
But hey, just my opinion ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Bard has a 52% win rate in diamond and a 51% win rate across all elos. Let's stop with the stigma that Bard is as weak as he was on release.
are probably the weakest as of right now.
Tanks have it rough bot lane without any sort of pull mechanic like
, especially if you're against poke or mage supports which are quite popular right now. There's just no room for you to breathe in those types of match ups.
I'd say most supports are in a decent spot though. Some of them even have very high ban rates like
and
. Most people aren't a fan of the mage supports right now either.

However, you have to play against them when both of your ban slots are full.
I dunno, I play a lot of Leona and she does well if you select your engagements well. Yeah you need to dodge mage drop zones but thats true for everybody. Against a mage support if Leona can catch you, you're going to melt.

oh wait never mind he's a toplaner now lol
If we talking real supports, definitely
. Been in a terrible wr for so long. But if not its this dead champ
I believe Braum has the lowest win rate. Poor guy got f*cked because of competitive play. Can’t do a whole lot on his own so is very much at the mercy of his team and unlike a lot of other passive supports with limited play making potential, namely the enchanters, he doesn’t scale nearly as well.
Also, I believe Morgana is kinda trash right now. She relies on snowballing in the laning phase super hard or she kind of becomes irrelevant. Her Q moves extremely slowly, meaning it can be very hard to hit successfully on squishy targets mid-late game and even if she does, it’s only a snare meaning the enemy can still dish out damage. Other catchers, such as Blitz, Bard and Thresh, basically guarantee their team a kill if they land their Q’s. Morgana currently only really exists as a counter pick to heavy CC team comps.
- Has needed either a rework or an actual good stun thats not his awful passive... The best thing about Braum is his E (Unbreakable shield. Which is breakable..... And his Ultimate.
yay...)
- Been weak since release just needs a full rework :/
-
is literally a useless item all over again unfortunately (that will never change from broken or useless. Another item that needs to be removed and replaced.) But more or less Janna has some good things about her like her kiting and getting away from enemies. However
does it much better with 1 ability.
- Dodge if you see him to be honest. Mid, Top, Support. Useless champion now.
- Now IM NOT SAYING SHES BAD. However shes a HUGE coin flip now. You have to be extremely careful I feel about picking her.
- Like lux. If your team doesn't do anything for you. Its a 4v5.

Bard is actually EXTREMELY strong at the moment. After his small buff to his E he’s sitting at a 53% win rate - the highest of all supports I believe.
Those are bard mains. You play him in game for about 200 games. Expect to lose all of them. Till 200 are over.
? bard is easy and he's soloQ freelo if you have any hands

Bard is definitely not easy. He's a very versatile champion and most of his skill comes through learning how to play each matchup to the highest potential.
I have 300k on him, he's tied with Illaoi for highest MP
champ is only hard if you're a support main and you're not used to actually having to use your hands
Gasp You mean to tell me after all this time you're not a Volibear main?! This is outrageous! Just for comparison, which supports do you think are more difficult than him?
Volibear is my third highest juggernaut behind Darius and Illaoi
braum is balanced specifically around professional players who use his kit correctly so I would probably say he is harder to use well than bard is. Yuumi, too, if her win curve is anything to to by.
bard probably comes off as difficult because he's really only half support; the other half is assassin because riot doesn't stop buffing his damage which has made me play him far less than I used to (alongside this horrible taric rework of course). also that while his kit is easy to use its also very easy to fuck up if you/your teammates don't know how to play around R. the biggest bard fails I see and experience all revolve around a terrible ult use
Higher damage would make him easier right? He doesn't have to land as many abilities to dish out damage. Who would you consider a difficult support though?
Itold you, braum and yuumi
Oh, sorry. Braum and Yuumi really aren't difficult though? Being weak in solo queue does not necessarily equate to being difficult to play. What part of their kits are particularly challenging? Braum sits in front of an ADC with shield and Yuumi attatches to the most fed member and heals them.

Whilst he is mostly unpopular, it's still a very high win rate, even if we assume every single person playing him is a Bard main. The fact that getting good at Bard would theoretically net you a similar win rate is enough to show that Bard is not as weak as people are claiming.
Bard is just the weirdest champ riot ever made... Situationally strong, you have to main him to see half the situations, and relies on his weirdness for no one else to know how to play against him.
The worst in bad hands and the best in good hands. He's the riven of the support role.
This basically it. His Q is kinda wonky to land, but has such as low cooldown late game, whilst also having a pretty high missile speed, so it's not the most punishing ability to miss, whereas Thresh and Blitz are basically useless if they miss their Q's. Bard can do pretty well into almost every champion in the game, it just comes down to learning how to play against each of them, as some matchups require you to play completely differently to others.

You're legit trolling.
Bard is one of the strongest supports in 9.15.
Stat sites even prove that.
so weak please buff

Seriously, dodge these trolls. You will live a happier and healthier life.
ok guys, i'ma have to spoil the fun. there are no weak supports. shocker? right? really there are none.

try soraka in low elo completely useless

try soraka in low elo completely useless
Soraka shines in low elo. She struggles in high elo where the enemy ADC comes back to lane after the first base with Executioner's Calling and her one good attribute is shot in the foot until super late game.
True, she is an intelligence check on low elo ADCS, most fail...but she feeds a lot in low elo too.....and with a dive....ouch..... I still think Sona is the worst though.....no one in low elo knows how to get ahead with her and is just free kills....
Sona's attributes have changed a LOT in recent years. Whilst she was originally the laning queen, with some of the most potent poke and sustain of all supports, she has since shiften to a relatively low damage, late game powerhouse. She is fodder to just about every aggressive support and dies almost instantly if caught out, even before people get items.
The second people stop playing her like they did several seasons ago and start playing her like you just need to get to mid-late game without feeding too much, is the second she becomes a lot stronger.
I agree, it's just games never last that long and every sona I see gets crushed, I play a lot of Diana, and I love to see sona bot......free kills!

there are supports for every elo bracket.
I'd throw
under the buss for weakest support. He has exactly 1 trick he can do to be helpful, and it's a trick that is incredibly easy to play against. The enemy team can render Bitz completely useless with minimal effort just by hiding behind minions or engaging well.
Due to the aggressive nature of the laning phase now, passive/reactionary tanks like Braum and Alistar are extremely weak currently.
Braum is an easy fix: change it so that dealing damage with an ability or auto adds a stack per ability or auto, not just from an attack.
Alistar is a bit trickier as while his WQ combo is a great engage tool, his passive is a great source of sustain and pushing power as long as your ADC farms instead of harassing. Unfortunately, since Alistar has no safe harass, the ADC has to take that burden on themselves. Personally, I would like a different E to help with this, but that's me.
After all the guttings I'd say
, especially against stuff like
.
Honorable mentions are
and
but thats mainly because they don't fit into this early aggression meta (since they want time to scale and get
)

Janna isn't weak.
She thrives in an aggression meta where a lot of Diver's exist.
Same for Lulu.
Definitely
. Can't poke if opponents play behind minions. Can't engage against other tanks, has no escape, significantly reduced tanking power, very low damage now that passive no longer applies to any abilities, almost impossible to stack passive unless you all-in and even then you can't stun and devour. About the only thing going for him now is the sustain buff to his E so he is slightly better against poke comps.
Definitely needs a rework at this point as Riot has seen to demolishing his viability.
The worst in two roles, mid/supp, Galio...
Ppl say Braum, but as long as hypercarries exist, his E is really valuable, with AoE knockup, higher you go better Braum is. But he is 99% reliant on his team, that's the problem :/
