Vel'Koz will be the next Lux after her nerfs goes through

Vel is awesome champ if used right and fun. But He has a number of weak points, mana hungry, slow, poor escape. Just to name a few. You need to have full attention when playing him. But lux is a different type of champ all together and to try to put vel in the negative spotlight cause he whoop your sorry ass. Just another typical tread on here.

This is exactly why he needs a rework

Right now the position of immobile poke mage is overcrowded

You just cycle between who is stronger out of Xerath, Lux or Vel

Vel'Koz did not get a bunch of completely unneeded buffs.

vel'koz is already pretty annoying. he won't be the next lux because he already is a current lux. Only difference is he doesn't have a stun or a shield and lands more damage than lux

Velkoz doesn't have shield cancer so it will be fine.

xerath is still better with range. vel is better burst/combo e -> w -> q -> r GGGGGG

vel is way more ham, hes really dependent on nothing being on him, but once something is on him he either needs to kill it asap or E, which is easily avoided. making his combo damage justified. Q is nice, but not as good as others for a poke team mate, weaker than lux w, xerath q, ziggs q, nid q etc.
