Why are assassins designed to have zero counterplay and tons of safety?

Let's give all assassins point and click burst that can't be dodged. And let's also give them healing abilities, stealth, free qss, instant repositioning abilities, and scaling armor and mr, just to make sure they never die. Oh, and let's also give them tons of cc, like fears, roots, massive slows (Talon), etc, even though other tanks and supports are supposed to be have the cc. And they can also build like tanks and still do more damage than tanks do. What's the point of playing a tank, who cannot reliably reach the backline, when an assassin can do it really easily.

People tell me adc's take no skill but that's straight up bullsh*t. An adc actually has to kite properly, unlike other classes in this game, and their burst is completely dependent on luck (do I crit or not). All an assassin or mage has to do is point and click on you and they do tons of damage every time.

**Your post just shows me how uninformed you are. You make several statements that are just blatantly false. **

1.) By all considerable metrics, most assassins do not have much CC. Talon especially, has minor CC at most. Slows are not major forms CC, in my book.

2.) 'Point-and-click burst that cannot be dodged' I also pretty misleading. Most assassins can miss abilities. Leblanc, Rengar, Even Talon.

3.) You ramble off like 5 things that you claim all assassins have - this is to be judged on a case-by-case basis, and again - pretty much false.

4.) I do concede that ADCs are not 'easy mode', but you make a bunch of generalizations about them that are somewhat inaccurate.

You claim I made "false statements", and then you fail to mention what they are. Interesting. I think YOU are uninformed. Talon has one of the most powerful slows in the game, and it's not hard to land at all due to the massive range and hitbox it has. Leblanc does not put herself at risk when she uses her chain. She can just dash away or swap places with her clone if she's in trouble. How often does an assassin miss a skillshot when they have stealth? They're able to get in point blank range and it's pretty much impossible to not land your cc. People make generalizations about adc's, so I'm gonna make generalizations about assassins. Don't like it? Too bad.

Which assassin has tons of cc? Most have slows and then Eve has a charm that allows for counter play. Rengar has a rootthat is situational (he has to prepare it and its a skill shot). And Leblanc has a root but again to get it off (heh) she has to be in danger. Most have one cc move and it’s not heavy cc. I guess ekko could be the exception to the rule. But most of them have the get in and get out play style. But if you’re an adc main I guess this could make you public enemy number one.
