What Specifically About Yasuo Do U Guys Hate The Most?

I think its safe to say that, unless you're a Yasuo main, we all hate playing against this guy. But I want to know something: what part(s) of his kit do you guys hate the most about him? Now obviously if you hate his whole kit in general I nor anyone else can blame you but if you had to choose one or a few select things that absolutely makes your blood boil when you face this guy what would it be?

Me personally it comes down to these:

  • His E - no matter what, this will always be my most hated part of his kit. Simply put it: he basically has infinite dashes so long as he has something to dash through. And because of that I don't ever feel safe when laning against him. He can just dash right through my minions, you know the tiny creatures that are kinda your bulwark from the other 99% of melee champions out there, deal damage and then just dash through another one without little consequence. This is almost the reason I fear going mid lane cause when I do I usually play mages and with him as my opponent I usually get fucked over pretty hard.

  • Double Crit - Put it simply, I don't like this. You literally just have to build a fucking item 3046 and item 3031 and then can build whatever damage items you want. It just doesn't seem that fair that one guy can just build two items for full crit, while everyone else needs like 6. I know the crit is reduced damage but considering that its pretty much every single AA and Q after the two items it just doesn't feel like that matters.

  • His Windwall - Just destroys all projects you throw at him. Even if the smallest particle of a Nami ult touches it, POOF GONE.

Windwall originating from Yasuo is bull shit. make it spawn in front of him

I think the biggest issue is how his mobility works with his survivability. Let's talk high damage champions. Nobody complains that Veigar is overpowered, even though Veigar can in theory do more damage than Yasuo. Why is this? Because Veigar is forced to interact with the opponent to get that damage. If Veigar shoots his Q to hit an enemy and misses, he just wasted mana. His squishiness and lack of mobility means that he can't just charge in, he has to either create an ideal situation or wait for one. Yasuo, on the other hand, feels unfair because of the lack of interaction between him and the enemy. True, playing Yasuo takes a lot of skill in the same way that beating Hard Mode in Guitar Hero takes skill, but that skill is between the champion and the player, not the player and his opponent.

For a squishy striker who plays a high-risk/high-reward playstyle, Yasuo rarely has to worry about getting hit by something. He has a passive shield, a Wind Wall, and dashes-for-days. If you do hit him, a little lifesteal (on all that damage) and he's good as new. Furthermore because he requires no mana Yasuo isn't forced to play conservatively with his tornadoes or other abilities. Yes, having energy means he can't just infinitely spam skills, but it also means that if he misses 10 skill shots (tornadoes) he can still do 10 more, most of the AP carry champions he'll go against mid will have to base after missing 10 skill shots because they'll be out of mana. If Riot wanted Yasuo to be a champion who had so much survivability, he shouldn't have been given so much damage. If Riot wanted Yasuo to do so much damage, while every champion needs some way to dodge (takes skill, right?) and outlast their opponent through clever play, they shouldn't have made Yasuo so untouchable with his abilities. And that I think is why Yasuo feels so annoying to go against.

It's not that he does so much damage and kills you when he makes contact. It's not knowing that some fourteen-year-old boy from Wisconsin is playing him without having to use the same amount of interaction skill that Anivia does. It's that Yasuo can run in, smack you, and run out without feeling like you have any power to respond. You could theoretically play a perfect game for someone of your skill level, but as long as the enemy player is skilled at Yasuo, that doesn't mean a thing.

That's the worst part. he doesn't even have energy,. he is resourceless. all he waits for are CDs (lmao, what a joke considering the only thing in his kit with any kind of actual downtime is his windwall.)

I don't actually mind laning vs a Yasuo, however I would always rather not for 2 big reasons.

  1. I dislike how his windwall moves forward. I would rather it started at the set distance so he can't block projectiles from all directions when it is first cast.

  2. The bigger reason is that he is snowbally and requires teamwork to shut down. At my elo I can't be confident in my teamate's abilities to work together to shutdown a yasuo. I would rather not risk the game on there being a skilled Yasuo and my team not having the best coordination or most experience against him.

What pisses me off the most is when he builds Frozen Mallet. Good luck moving around him.

His super high agency and pressure in lane constantly forces his opponent to be on their toes and ready to outplay or fight to the death at any moment. I main Yasuo and even I understand how mentally draining laning against one can be.

His E makes me the most salty. (Sp4zie like: Oh look, I'm Yasuo, I'm dashing)

His Windwall is weird in a sense that it doesn't feel like it's lore friendly.

e e e e e e... literally had a Yasuo e e e e into our base (inhib down), ult someone and e e e out again without taking any damage beyond popping his shield a few games ago... reminded me of why he is perma banned lul

Honestly, he would be balanced if riot reworked his windwall and just gave him some larger cooldowns

Honestly he does not really annoy me like he use to when i first started. Yes is dash is annoying but when your a melee that can beat him into the ground it doesn't matter really.I think for me it's his free crit chances but again i just nuke him before he gets the chance.

Windwall is toxic, I dont mind abilities... or autoattacks BUT EATING ULTIMATES??

Nami's R?? Caitlyn's R?? Janna's Q ??

I mean cait R was blockable by almost everything lol.

Janna Q = ultimate?

If I were put in charge of making Yasuo fair, I'd remove that passive shield, make his Wind Wall an instant that blocks one attack only (and move one of his other passives to it so that there is a reason to level it up), and reduce the frequency of his dodges a little. In my opinion that still wouldn't be enough, but sometimes it's better to make smaller tweaks at a time.

His entire existence. He always feeds when he's on your team, and he's a god on the opposing team. Delete Yasuo.

His flow shield and his free Ulti of any displacement. That's it.

yes his E is annoying. Yes his windwall is obnoxious. But what really bothers me is that he gets free shields for walking so you can;t even properly zone or harass and punish him without waiting an entire minion wave first after you pop his flow, so between it and his Windwall, he basically ignores the issue every melee in the game has to deal with for free.

Legit just for walking around, he mitigates damage. Walking around and dashing.

And that shit refreshes on ulti. How many times did you ignite a Yasuo only for his Flow shield to conveniently pop up to save him as he ran for his life? it's cancer.

Make his Flow meter an actual resource for his Windwall or Tornados or something.

His free ulti is just cancer.

Imagine of Yi could get on top of anyone and prolong their CC while doing high burst AoE damage to them with the press of a Button just because someone else CC'd them. Sound retarded? Well that is yasuo's ulti right now.

He has enough bullshit that he doesn't need all these freebie chizz along with it like that Lol out of tower range when he ults BS.

I hate that I have to scroll past 500 Yasuo hate threads before I find a post that's actually good

Windwall blocking abilities when cast in the opposite direction: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2OuN3HNCf0c

Ultimate positioning him outside of tower range (0:33 to 1:00) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0YINsRtqipk&feature=youtu.be&list=PLsL7hqZ-1QGQhF_QV2ZyTm0Rp0DrhTuq1&t=33

Also, their tendency to feed horribly and rage in all-chat (or outright AFK/troll).

I have very rarely had a good experience with one and the vast majority of them were just horrible players (both mechanically and behaviourally).

I just don't have to deal with it.

The sheer amount of safety his kit has.

The passive shield

The large amount of mobility.

The automatic safety net when ulting onto a turret

The windwall, arguably the most overpowered non-ultimate in the game. The fact that he doesn't even need to aim it makes it worse.

The 6 or so seconds of zoning when he has his tornado up.

Hes overflowing with unnecessary safety. He's a melee ADC with damage reduction that would make tanks jealous.

Manaless. High mobility. Low skill requirement. Hyper scaling.

Basically, faceroll easy and brokenly overpowered.
