Maybe we can make aoe that is not circular?

Most of the aoe abilities, wether it's ground effect, aorea of effect, or w/e, they all have a circular hit box. The only exception I can think of is Syndra's push back ability which is a cone.

why are all these aoe made to be circles? is there a special reason behind it?
