Trading skin shards

Is Riot going to make it possible to trade skin shards between players? My friend loves Malzahar and I got a shard for his snow day skin. Would I be able to, in the near future, trade that shard to him for a shard he has?

it would also encourage online gambling like what happened with Steam and CSGO. Riot likely doesnt wanna play with those allegations Steam keeps getting.

although i see what you're saying, i don't think it would happen since the skin prices have a price set by rito

BUT, then again, hextech annie and discontinued skins are in there so.... yeah probably bad idea

online sales on places like ebay? like what happens with cs:go players would play a 1v1 for some rare shard skin (gambling) the winner takes the shard bet?

Man youa re naive if you think this is not exploitable, also hacking people woudl become more frequent since they could do more than just lower your rank (which takes forever) or get you a ban since they could empty your shard collection and sell it later, it woudl go from grieving to actually stealing.

sure, there are people like me and possibly you (idk how much you spend) who dont buy rp and htis is just free stuff to them, but we would've never bought rp anyway so it's not really a loss

HOwever, there are a TON of people that are paying to play the hextech craft game, and see a shard and think "OMG I gotta buy more to unlock that shard."

I only spent $60 total. DJ Sona, some Lunar Reveal stuff, and I think $10 of mystery boxes for a friend.
