How the hell the actual match making works in normal and draft ?

I mean i am always playing with one or two new players. Many times i play with and against low elo players like silvers and bronzes.

Some season ago this rarely hapenned 2-3 times per month . the only times it hapenned to me i usually played against plats or sometimes diamonds with a korean lee sin hiting every q like impossible.

so yes why now the match making puts new players or non matched with your elo players against or with you ?

does the game have not enough players anymore to fill the requirements of the match making ?

i never stopped playing since season 2 and this year is the first year i see a lot of time :

this is my first time x champ/ i just reached lvl 30 / i only have 100 games....

Why does this happen frequently ?

Is it normal than a veteran with 5000 games mastering most of the champs has to play with or against those kind of players ? I feel bad for new players bronze or silvers having to play against or with plats and gold players when many of them get destroyed or flamed...

IN my oppinion lol just lost so much players that they can't adjust anymore the match making like in the past.

My mmr didn't changed a lot from the past...

So why does this happen ?

It's because ranked MMR doesn't affect normal MMR. If it did, you'd see a lot more balanced games in terms of rank.

Explain me so why in the past it hapenned very rarely that i played against bronze or silver players ? My mmr is almost the same as in the past.

Amount of games played is irrelevant, only mmr is relevant. Each queue has its own mmr.

You are gold 5 with silver 1 mmr at around 1280. Your normal mmr is around 1120, going to guess that is around silver 5. Your normals mmr is dropping, which is why you are seeing bronze and silver players. It doesn't matter if you habe 5000 games at 1120 mmr or 50, you get matched the same because that is your rating. If you were like plat or diamond matched with bronze then I'd say there is an issue, but your normals mmr is within a few divisions of your ranked mmr. Gold 5 is closer to bronze than it is to diamond.

Well but in normal i just like to try some random builds that's why my mmr is lower... they should share the same mmr as the soloq one. I think they changed things... In the past it was certainly the soloq mmr which determinated the players you would play with in normals. I just use normal to chill and try dumb builds like critlesticks or ivern adc... ANd it's not a lie i used to play only against and with gold with sometimes plats and exceptionnaly diamond players.

That would make things worse. If you want to have high normals mmr you need to try hard. Then you will get matched with other people that take the game seriously as your mmr grows. Since most people don't try hard in normals it is an easy queue to climb mmr in. If you try random builds a lot then you will get matched with other people that aren't building efficiently or trying new champs.

By dividing the mmrs it basically segregates the people that use normals to try hard and practice with those that use it to learn new champs or goof around with new builds. Tying the 2 queues together gets rid of the segregation and both types of players are in the same game, making it unfun for everyone, especially the try hards.

If you want normals to legit practice in then use draft to try hard and then blind for goofing. The only downside to try harding is your mmr will increase way past your ranked mmr because of the ease of climbing ranked vs normals as a try harder, which will result in long queue times and eventually the need for new accounts.
