Is it his playstyle? Is it because he is op? Or maybe both? His win rate is not that high, his kit is not overloaded and he is more predictable than ever with his ult. Why do people ban him more than before? Even when he could do the triple Q he was not as banned and he could kill you in 0.2 without any indication... If you personally do not ban him, do you think it is justified, compared to other champions in the game?

It's not OP since he will get deleted by your team afterward but knowing I can play against a champion that just removes me from the game every fight makes me want to avoid him.

Before people like Talon, Leblanc, Zed or Fizz were banned more because they had even less counterplay than rengo, but now that Zed and Talon are shit, Fizz is played less for some reason and Leblanc takes more time to burst people down, Rengo is one of the only assassins that can insta kill you without any counterplay.

He is the 1 assassin still easily capable of one shotting which feels so oppressive to play against. He has CC immunity so mage players (Especially tf and syndra players) ban him often.
