he is back on one of the list of less played champions....i dont even see him in games anymore. why? overnerfed? will same happend to ?

not really overnerfed, but his playstyle is not that appealing to a lot people currently(inclouding my self), so if he's no longer op, he's no loner popular. same fate for most juggernauts i fear. Garen and Darius were both rather stong with well above 50% winrate in plat+, but rarly picked befor their reworks.

Morde and Darius are played in competitive, so I don't think they will. And when was the last time you saw Garen?

well, he also has a huge banrate, so compared to the number of games in which he can be picked he is picked way more often than befor.

I just love how they imediatly nerfed Skarner back to hell, but allowed Darius, Garen and Mordekaiser to stay broken. Just shows again: YOu can be OP, but dare to be OP in the jungle and you DIE DIE DIE!

Garen and Darius looks pretty cool. Morde has some too, but he was known for no mobility, very easy to kite and vulnerable to gank - so people still has that impression.

If you really want to see Skarner picked more, ask for his visual update (and new skins, obviously). Think of Sion who comes from a clown zombie to a "badass guy in town with an awesome armor and a deadly axe". When ppl buys Sion and his stuff it makes sense for Riot to buff him and even allow him OP for a while...

Think a bit about Ahri - why does she stands at top tier so long - and not even nerfed? You know what I mean ;-)

No Skarner is still strong, he's just fated to forever be underplayed because the way his kit is designed in general. He's a tank that's good at singling out one target and brawling in the jungle when he has his spire there. Most tanks have AoE abilities and aren't reliant on their ults to catch someone, they're also not so reliant on auto attacks and typically have better gap closing potential.

So even though Skarner can do buttloads of damage while still being tanky on top of some of the best single target catching, he's simply not a very popular guy.

Morde is just stupidly OP as shit in duo lanes atm cause of the two most ridiculous additions to his kit that still to this day make no fucking sense at all (those being full xp in duo lanes for some fucked up reason and the ability to own a fucking dragon.... cause that's so totally fair.....). Garen is also just extremely simple to play so literally anyone at all can pick him up and dominate most match ups with him, plus with a point and click execute to help you get fed. Darius then has a lot of AoE and multi target damage and a potentially spammable execute true damage ult, and anyone who has gotten multiple dunks off with him understand how much fun it is to do!

That's why they're still perma ban/pick. I feel like Garen will just eventually start to fall off the popularity chart cause of how simple and one dimensional his kit is, it gets incredibly boring for most people. Morde will have to be nerfed hard soon, having a near 100% ban/pick rate at worlds and still a 100% winrate where he dominates each game he is in should be an indication to Riot that they fucked up with those two things I pointed out earlier about him. Darius will eventually be nerfed in the damage department somehow and become less popular, but he'll most likely still see a decent amount of gameplay no matter what cause of how fun dunk streams are to pull off lol
