When bad teammates blame you, what do you do?

I tried, I really did, being positive. But when your horrible teammates take criticism as an insult, what are you supposed to do! Had a Draven last game that refused to farm, he was jumping left and right into team fights and dying constantly as a result. Went 6/15/7 at the end of the game but worse than that, he had one of the lowest CS counts I had ever seen. Like, close to 50 CS at 20 minutes. I wasn't flaming at him, I was offering him advice. "Draven can you please farm, you are underfed." His response, "No." Note I wasn't carrying, but my score was still the best in my team. This Draven ends up flaming me, me the Nasus jungler for not joining their team fights when I'm practically the highest level champion, taken 3 turrets through split pushing, and gotten enough levels to match the enemies level. I tried to carry but couldn't when Draven was our only ADC, the rest was tank and utility (Morganna, Syndra, Rumble, Nasus (me). So what should I have done? Joined my teammates in their bound to fail team fights where I would have lost or continued what I was doing?

you cant do much but the way you said it made it sound like a threat. What I would have said was "Hey draven, stay in your lane and farm some cs, take the tower and roam so we can get the other towers and then push with me mid" you got to make them trust you or act like you are their friend.

I could try being even "nicer", but then I'll be afraid it will come off as sarcasm.

I'm argumentative so I find myself saying something back. :( I can't help myself.

Last night after a few minutes I just said "I'm not defending myself when I'm 6/1 and your 0/7" and mute.

I've calmed down over the years, it's only when players are deliberately sabotaging the game or afk'ing that makes me want to rage :P

you could play jungle for a week to test the extremes of blaming, then everything else around you will feel non-existent

I once tried to main adc but it didn't work.Even as support which is my secondary role,i pray every single game for a good adc to lane with.I mainly play top now which is the best role for me.

When i lose top i can say it's only my fault and do not complain to someone. In my experience bad Draven players are rare.Toxic Vayne players who have no idea how to play with their E are more common.

The more someone feeds and blames the more chances he has to get banned.

That's the problem I'm having! Top lane isn't involved in the game, support (despite what people have said) can't carry with ADC's that don't understand the concept of last hitting or they're just downright awful. and jungler always gets blamed for everything which makes it hard for them to lead the team.

I assure you that top is deeply involved in the game.Top lane is supposed to pressure his lane and draw enemy jungle's attention or to use his teleport to help other lanes.

You know.i have been playing since seasons 2.I tried a lot of roles and a lot of champions.I switched roles so many times but after a long time i finally decided to be a top laner for many reasons.

  1. I really tried this season to play as adc but apparently i wasn't good nor i had the patience to play with auto fill supports.Nobody can lane with a Sona without support's item who steals farm anyway. And so i game so i won't get frustrated every single game.

  2. I was a good mid laner but it's the hardest role to get and it takes time to Queue for it.I used to play Ziggs and Fizz a lot.I still play them but i never trust my jungle. In EUW silver tier you get too many Master Yi players afk farming or whatever anyway so it is not worth.

3)Before i switch to Top lane finally i played jungle a lot.I ganked all lanes from level 3,went after objectives, tried hard to win(even 4 vs 5 games) and really thought i found my role. But,there were lots of games where all lanes started losing at the same times together,or would fight the enemy all the time only to feed more and so on.They would even refuse to go after dragons for the simple reason they wanted to farm. There is no bigger frustration for a jungle than losing objectives for no reason literally. Also,it is frustrating when 9/10 Vayne players feed from level 2,flame a lot their support and afk farm for the next 30 minutes of the game and do not allow you to gank.

  1. So i finally chose to main top and i'm quite happy.Sure there will be many times when i'll get countered hard, lose my lane because i got camped from enemy's jungle or whatever. Also,i really enjoy to fill as support cause it's fun simply. Can't explain it the joy of playing Blitz or Tahm.

Thus,do not mind all these guys blaming and flaming. As a top laner now i carried lots of them.Check my profile my latest games with Jax on op.gg.I really suggest you try all lanes and figure out which one suits you better(and i mean mentally).

Not critisize. Noone asked you to help other people to improve. Play your game the best you can and move on to the next one.

So I can't tell a player they're doing horribly because they will end up doing worse, sigh. The sad thing is, this might be completely true.

#bronzementality But seriously, if he's telling you off, he really shouldn't be. Anyone doing poorly usually knows it unless they are delusional (which happens more in very low elo and especially with the stereotypes of some champ mains). Best thing to do is say nothing or to only use chat to say gj

It's not that easy to carry when you're tank or support.

i carry as support all the time. with Morgana , support is actually the EASIEST role to carry with IMO.. because if u play support properly you pretty much always win lane.. as u know they probably got their support autofilled and don't play properly

Speaking of a coincidence, I actually had mid and support fight over Morganna, both had level 7 masteries on her. Mid got first pick and took her which started a huge argument before the game even started. I should have just dodged to be honest.

Nasus can carry a game easy, and as a support main I have carried games before, though that's not as easy this season.

Pretty simple actually, mute them.

Athenes Lulu1 votes

The mute button.

Bad players don't provide any relevant information to win the game, so you're much better off disregarding everything they say. Especially since you already gave respectful ways to communicate, and he still refuses.

Just keep calm and move on to the next game.

you say "I KNOW IM AWFUL SOB IT'S TERRIBLE... HOW DID I EVER MAKE IT TO GOLD LAST SEASON SOMEONE PLEASE CARRY ME :'("

and then get a pentakill later. that's pretty much the only way to deal with it that actually DEALS WITH IT

I mute and proceed to enjoy the rest of the game.
