It hurts seeing people talk about ADCs on the boards

Ive been on the boards for about 6 months now? And i cant believe how badly people view this game in general, but mainly towards ADC. People act like ADCs are some unkillable gods that 2 shot anything that moves, Armor and HP dont matter cause they get 0.25 of an item and it insta kills you!

Almost nothing of what people say on the boards makes any sense, the claims people make against ADC about how "i got 2 shot" or "i had 200 armor and got crit for 1.2k" dont make any sense. Every class can beat an ADC in their own ways, some more painfully obnoxious than others.

JUGGERNAUTS - Literally hell on earth for any ADC, while they're usually decently easy to kite, they have things in their kit that make it that they stick to you and delete you.

People like Darius If his passive gets stacked on someone else, he can auto - ult an ADC and insta kill them, its not uncommon. Being unlucky or dumb enough to get into melee range of this guy even if hes feeding, means you're going to die as an ADC.

Garen This guy isnt a big problem, but his kit has the same annoyances as most people in the game. His Q makes him a Lamborghini, and silences you for something like 2.5 - 3 seconds? W is passive resistances and CC mitigation, E shreds armor and his amazing ult that usually hits for like 800 true damage (about 50% - 60% of an ADCs health) while building full tank.

Chogath Getting hit by his knock up means you die, his ult is the exact same as garens but harder to play around.

ASSASSINS -

Zed Rengar Khazix Akali Ekko Fizz Evelynn Katarina Shaco Kayn (if you go shadow) Theses champs all have the same thing in common, if you lost 1v1 to an ADC, you misplayed.

it isnt "i landed everything and i still lost" or "lifesteal stopped me from winning"

Unless you're INSANELY behind, or they're INSANELY ahead or you tried to 1v2, you lost because you misplayed.

MAGES - Mages are typically strong all game against ADCs, thats why you can play them as a support because with less income, you can still be as effective.

Ahri Annie Azir Brand Cassiopeia Malzahar Lux Veigar Velkoz Viktor Vladimir Xerath Mid to late game, 2 abilities from these champs mean either the ADC is dead, or about to me. Things like Lux ult can do 60% of someones HP, on a 20 second CD, with insane range. Again, if you lose 1v1 to an ADC as a mage if you're equal or even minorly behind, its because you misplayed.

BRUISERS / FIGHTERS I know people are going to violate me for saying this, because they fight that this is the weakest role, but seriously once they hit their first spike they become hell to play against.

Fiora Jax Yasuo XinZhao Vi Urgot Riven Renekton Pantheon Nasus Irelia Now some of these are worse than others cause im just using them as examples, but they all have the something in common, their early game is usually awful, but their mid to late game they become borderline unstoppable, seeing a person have a minor lead on any of these champs makes an ADC wanna die irl. Getting a Fiora q - slowing you, Yas, Riven, and Jax just existing, Nasus ulting and becoming an actual god, its all so unfun and USUALLY, theres nothing an ADC can do unless they get peel and 6 items.

SUPPORTS All supports have a good and reliable way to stop an ADC, hell Leona at level 2 with aftershock / ignite can almost solo kill an ADC. But supports can beat out an ADC if they know what they're doing.

theres Prevention Supports Soraka Janna Lulu Karma Sona Nami - makes it hard to get a lead if the other team knows what they're doing on these champs

Play Making / Tank Supports Bard Blitzcrank Alistar Thresh Shen Rakan Leona Braum TahmKench - A good playmaking support can make an entire team lose - but god if a Leona lands the E, an Alistar lands the combo, Blitz/ Thresh land a good hook, the ADC is dead.

(Also side note, i had a Braum pretty much solo win a game today for the other team, he jumped on his ADC and put up his shield and blocked like 10-12 Ult autos which would've won us the fight and the game, it would've been a huge comeback but i got rekt D: )

But then theres Mage Supports Brand Lux Zyra Zilean Xerath Velkoz Veigar Playing against a GOOD mage support can make you lose lane and the game so easily, if they zone and poke, you're going to be so far behind and they do enough damage to solo kill ADCs at pretty much all points in the game (except MAYBE late game, if the ADC got a lead)

I hope that Riot ignores the boards, i do think theres major flaws in this game (everything to do with towers, rift herald, baron / elder being hella buffed, everyone and everything doing WAY too much damage, snowballing, games being decided within 5-10 mins of the game starting and stuff like that) But i dont see how people can realistically say that ADC is broken. I have literally not seen anyone even mention that ADC is broken in game, people still meme about how much it sucks in some games. This role is hated for being on par with everything else and its insane the hate its gotten for no reason.

Its the same for anything people complain about really. Everything is so grossly exaggerated and it gets rewarded. Far to many People don't up and down vote for quality but for shared opinions. Its garbage.

You're right about everything, good job on the post.

The only thing is: Urgot is a Juggernaut, both for playstyle and for official definition by Riot. He also a decent early game,so he really shouldn't be with those guys.

Also, you didn't talk about full-tank champs, but they can be summed up almost with the same words of the playmaking supps: If they make a CC on the right person and the team follows, they carry/ADC dead.

P.S: If i were a "board guy" i too would complain about ADCs,i really hate them, even when i'm playing them

1v2ing the bot lane duo should not be hard at all, though. It's just so God damn easy for a support to stick to the AD, and so hard to catch the AD clearing a wave on his own. Legit, the only supports I see leaving their AD are usually from lanes that lost super hard and the AD is straight worthless, and supporting the top/jungle/mid is way more worthwhile.

You forgot Yorick:

Q takes Half a ADC HP of the bat, ghouls when tagged by E will jump and deal a shit load of damage while He gains MS, and heavens help you if you get inside his wall with his ult up because he. will, annihilate you.

Also, you got a shitload of the Champ roles wrong.

Urgot and Nasus are juggs and the header for bruiser/fighter should be changed to fighter/skirmisher.

The actual problem with adcs come from the fact that botlane is currently VERY snowbally, it's a stompfest in almost everygame.

ADC itemization is cheap as hell and supports have actually a very good income now, which means that whoever gets an early lead will just steamroll the other side.

Whichever adc gets his powerspike first (which is usually item 3031item 3087, but different from one adc to the other) will just stomp the other. The adc with BF + Statikk vs the adc with IE + Statikk stands no chance at all.

And what happens when your botlane loses their tower? The enemy botlane moves mid and tries to take the first midlane tower, denying your midlaner. Meanwhile your underfed adc is stuck farming the very few minions he can get in his lane, that or he straight out steals farm from his own midlaner, denying him even more.

You're only hope when your adc gets stomped is that he's a strong lategame scaler, like Kog, Trist or Varus, and that with enough farm he'll outscale the enemy adc.

If adc got their big powerspike at their 3rd or 4th item instead of getting it after their 2nd (or 1st) item, they'd be force to stay in their lane longer, and the pressure they can apply would be reduced.

The problem could be easily solved if they simply toned down a bit the adc power curve.

If your midlane mage has two full item vs the fed enemy mage with 3 full items, they can still be dealt with. The same can't really be said about an adc with 2 items vs an adc with 3 items. The latter will probably cost you the game.

Ehhhh. I'll give you context now, Yasuo is basically built to be the biggest counter to ADC's. As evident by windwall and his dash, he's meant to zone them and punish them for being in the same lane xd
