Anyone else visits the boards frequently even though they uninstalled the game??

I am in the same boat. I uninstalled league some weeks ago but still come to the boards every day in the hope things will get better.

Watching complaint topics shift really. If you have been on the boards for a couple years it is pretty easy to get a general understanding of the game state by watching the boards.

For example the JG changes let me know that it was worth trying to play again because I enjoy playing aggressive top laners and the complaints about junglers having to contest scuttle early told me that I might be able to snowball in my first 2-3 levels without getting ganked. Long update and a few games later and it turns out I was right.

Also even when not playing I augment my knowledge with both the boards, for opinions on the changes, with Surrender@20 patch notes.

It wouldn't have anything to do with whether the change was horrible or not as the boards complain about virtually every change.

The boards compliment good ones (when appropriate). They are a fair indicator of how the change will affect the game.

I still play occasionally every season, but the game just hasn't been the same since they removed Dominion. It's like Riot just doesn't care at all about their playerbase that isn't interested in Summoner's Rift/LCS.

I feel this game would be in a much better state if Riot wasn't so hung up on competitive play, at the cost of everyone/everything else.

I will admit I'm not very optimistic by nature, but I feel it still isn't too late to turn things around. Riot being so heavily biased towards competitive play is what is killing the game.

I use the boards way too frequently, yet I rarely play the game. I may have actually spent more hours on the boards than playing the game (and I've spent 3k hours on league)

Nah,i uninstalled the game over a dozen times by now,playing it since s1. Maybe you're just projecting yourself on me,i don't think anyone else here though the focus is on the fact that i uninstalled,its the fact that i'm still visiting the boards daily,also it was a simple question,if it doesn't concern you don't comment

I been playing since S1 too; but the new system catering to peoples feelings being hurt, makes it no longer competitive in a sense that I can enjoy it.

I uninstall periodically when I get too busy to play. Still I check the boards from time to time even when I've uninstalled the game.

Edit:// I'm not a theorycrafter or anything and really don't care to learn about the game intricacies but I like to read the chaos that the boards can become at times (such as with this jungle change)

I mean I won't admit to lack of self control but I have been known to play a game here and there when I have other things I should be doing. If I really need to catch up on some things then I'll uninstall and once I finish a project or something then I'll reinstall. Maybe I'm just weird.

Nah im the same,i uninstall the game just to remove the temptation,especially when i have something like exams coming up,but even when i don't i remove the game just because i know force of habit will make me go play even though im saturated with the game and i need a break.

Every time i made a break,even for a year or more i came back to see new changes,new champs,new items,new stuff and i get hooked again,its fun actually

I've seen people post 2 completely opposite things,and still get upvotes,like Tanks are broken af,and the next one is Tanks are super weak.

Sometimes the boards talk about real balance issues,but most of the time its just complaining cause your champ is not the strongest

I checked daily when I stopped last year. Did come back because it's the only game my mates play and playing anything with mates is excessively fun.

I visit mainly to see if the game is worth returning to besides my mates. And also to watch riot's balance team screw up over and over again. It's hilarious how bad they are at this. But I do thoroughly enjoy reading the posts by meddler and all the "nexus" posts.

I still love the game in that I want it to be good enough to play. But it's just so shit compared to what I fell in love with in 2013

Ye its fun playing with friends,but ironically my best friend irl is the worst person to play games with,hell i just rage quit fornite 5 minutes ago cause of him,its not that he's bad,its that he's always blaming others or just plain bad luck every time he loses. i remember in lol he goes into a 3v1,dies and then starts flaming his teammates or riot for balance...i can't understand how he's so toxic in a game but so normal irl

League does bring out the worst in people. Friend has a friend like that so we just ditched him. He only played blitz bot, and if he didn't win lane hr blamed the adc and afk'd.

If you tolerate his behavior you're telling him that his behavior is ok. Refuse to play games with him and give him the reason. If he gives a fuck he'll make an effort to fix it. Or, if you want to hit the ball home. Play with him and report his ass when he flames or leaves til he gets a penalty

Exam season so I unistalled the game (time waste and I tend to get tilted). Constantly clicking on the boards. Once I remove that bookmark, it's all over.

I uninstalled weeks ago as well; I wont play a game where its okay to intentionally play bad or leave games but if you cuss once you get banned. Sounds like single mother type shit to me.
