What's more concerning to me than Jhin's absurd pickrate or winrate, considering...

It shows that the champion has no real weaknesses throughout the game.

Power scaling throughout the game is a HUGE factor in a champion's balance, and Riot needs to decide where Jhin should excel and adjust him accordingly.

They should adjust the values on his passive for damage scaling , it has been left untouched since release

You mean just making him scale off crit (even above '100%'), while attack speed scales only the MS passive?

I agree. Trade-offs should be a thing.

You forget that Jhin has the greatest weakness of any ADC champion, a 4 shot reload mechanic with a fixed attack speed set to BASE VALUE. For a few seconds past that 4th shot, he cant damage you unless he uses an ability. He also cant make effective use of Warlords Bloodlust since he cant heal even close to as fast as other ADCs with more than base value attack speed can.

He's not extremely strong in any part of the game but neither is he weak, because he has a perfect combo of utility and damage.

As riot said the dps on Jhins autoattacks is too high so I guess AD per level changes are probably planned.

Some early game nerfs would also be appropriate, so I'd guess Base AD and Q Base damage adjustments.

For compensation if he feels too weak he could get his AD scaling through crit increased.

It's not that simple. You want him to have to build crit so he is centered around late game? He doesn't need to when he can build Pen items and coast off of his guaranteed crit that comes with missing health damage. You want him to fall off? Good luck with that when he will always be useful because he can apply utility to the enemy team from vastly safe distance.

I'm well aware that Riot created a monster.

Doesn't change that his powercurve needs to be modified, even if it takes a lot of work to do that due to his design.

Look at Ashe, for example. She used to have both damage and utility, and they opted to hit her damage.

To be fair Riot didn't really accomplish anything good in hitting Ashe's damage.

She's currently in a crap place in soloqueue and incredibly powerful in competitive which puts Riot at an impasse where she's basically a mini Azir. IMO hitting her damage was exactly the wrong choice, her damage was allowing her to function in soloqueue where she was average while she was picked competitively purely for utility. I think Riot should have hit her E, which is almost purely a competitively useful spell rather than her damage to try to hit her competitively without gimping her in soloqueue.

Knowing Riot, they won't nerf him again for a damn good while. He needs some adjustments after the lethality buffs because he is ez freelo right now. but they won't hard gut him no matter how many of you jump on the bandwagon with the jhin QQ threads because he is a popular champ and pro pick. like lee sin, one of rito's "untouchable" champs.

not all adcs or champions in general are really balanced around having a weak phase of the game, draven is the first example that comes to mind
