It's possible you could have fed because you may have had no idea what you were doing.

It's possible you carried because the enemy had no idea what to do against you.

Both are valid justifications for a week champ restriction

because 1 guy managing to do good in 1 game against the masses that are failing and feeding with new released champions makes it justified?

i say tie it to champion mastery and allow people only to pick champions with a mastery level of 2 or 3 in ranked. its not too much to ask for people to have some practise with the champion theyre picking in a serious competitive environment.

if you want to fuck around, play normals.

Riot NEEDS to disable champs for 1 week from ranked. Why in the hell should we repeatedly break SoloQ for a week or 2 at a time because stupid people want to learn to play a champion in ranked? It's utterly ridiculous. Many agree.

I just watched a kindred destroy the game for her entire team, because she had no idea how to play her pick. Tried to gank 2 lanes, died in both. Tried to fight 1v2, died. This is breaking ranked right now, like every other release does. Because people are selfish, and think they are invinciable. Realize this. Your new to the champion. Your are NOT good with her. Pros aren't good with her. She is to new. You may do good, and then you may feed so hard its a 4v6 for the rest of your team. Why handycap the rest of your team? If you want to play it, TAKE IT TO NORMALS.

It's complete bullshit, and needs to be changed soon.

Different people learn at different rates. Some people pick up new champions and instantly do well with them. Others take months just to figure out how to go even with them.

I see no reason why Riot should disable new champions from ranked play. It's the same as with their champions who can effect allies (Bard, Tahm, and the like), they don't make decisions based on poor play. Communication and bans should be more than enough to deal with new champions, and while it's more likely than not communication will fail it is the fault of the people involved, and not Riot.
