you must not have looked hard, you should go check again.

Veigar's stun (while extremely powerful) is one of the most difficult skill shots to land while smart casting, and moderately difficult to land when not smart casting.

Also, veigar's dark matter has such a long delay, that it needs to either be timed with his stun, or need excellent timing/leading skills to land properly.

It also covers like half the map. Not hard to land at all. And even if he misses you're still trapped inside it. The game basically rewards you for missing.

You must hate champs like Tryndamere then. He gets rewarded for every mistake he makes.

or someone like Fizz who just like tryn gets rewarded for being out of position

You must not play veigar much, huh? Anyone with any real experience playing veigar can confirm what I said is true.

Honestly, veigar is a little on the weak side. Sure, he can still become a late game monster, but with all these mobile assassins and super bruisers that can shrug off his burst veig can barely survive the laning phase. His mana costs are atrocious. They are a relic of an old game design philosophy where mages were to have high cost high impact spells, but when that philosophy changed to low cd spammable spells with no mana worries, veig fell behind, and was not updated to keep up with his competition. (his ult still costs 225 mana at rank 3, while almost all other mid lane mages have had their ults normalized to 100 mana at all ranks)

And now with the removal of DFG, veigar is in an even worse position than before. Veig relied on DFG to actually have an impact during the mid game.

The skill comes from not using your skills on the minion wave or the tank when trying to delete the AP carry in a hectic teamfight XD I have done both of those and I feel so incredibly bad afterwards, but I also play veiger when half asleep a lot so I fail on many more levels than just his point and click skills >.>

You don't have to look for it in his kit. His range sucks and he's about as squishy as sona. Not getting immediately blown up by an assassin who can jump your stun or be untargetable as veigar takes skill.

Well he does have 2 skill shots, and is worthless if he misses is stun/doesn't have ult/against an AD team.

all but the last statement is true. He is still very good at exploding the enemy adc.

ppl tend to over estimate just how much dmg veigar gets from the enemy ap ratio on his ult. an enemy with 300 ap will only give veigar an additional 240 dmg. While helpful, it is far from game breaking.

Fair enough, but until very late game that ult wont' one shot an adc like it would a no-mr mid laner.
