What is the counterplay to nocturne

So i havent been able to play the game in like 4 days bc of the stupid anti-cheat thing but ive legit always wondered this

  • You cant cc him and then escape bc he can just time his spellshield good and block your cc, also he has an undodgeable fear
  • You cant outrun him because Q, R and point-and-click fear.
  • There is nothing for you to dodge/avoid, everything he does is point and click other than his q which is like the least important ability in his kit after the early game
  • You cant get help from your team unless they are literally sitting on you bc of his ult
  • Even without his ult, you cant depend on your team being with you at every second of the game anyway
  • You cant outdamage/fight him because he has insane burst, can ignore your cc/high damage abilities, and fears you

So what do you guys do to fight this champion? Lol

It's funny how something as simple as this is literally the best counterplay there is.

You can overpower him or outscale him. Thing is, not every champion has the kit for it.

for example you need mobility, otherwise you won't be able to break his fear leash, the trick is timing it just right to where you get out before it procs.

you will also need someone who can just spam abilities, noc may have his shield but it only works against one ability, most champions that are auto attack based, or stat roided can overpower him, yes noc gets some attack speed but thats not a lot compared to others like Olaf that get attack speed, lifesteal and true damage. he can also break the fear with his ult so he's a good counter pick on most one on ones against noc. theres also Pantheon as noc can only block one tick of his E burst, and panth can follow him around with his ult for counter ganks when noc used his ult, his stun can also prevent noc from running or chasing if you pay attention to when noc used his shield, or force noc to use it with a Q before going balls in.

What makes noc strong is his ability to dive champions that have CC but no way of escape. Since noc can block any attempts to CC and outrun any champion without a dash or blink, champions like say Ashe Lux or Morgana are at a big disadvantage and you can't really outplay him because he is literally designed to kill those types of champions.

I admit play Nocturne regularly and from my experience when I play him, the champions I hate to go against are Olaf Udyr Pantheon Tryndamere try out one of them if you find yourself against nocturne a lot.

He's a statcheck. You either out-stat him, or just lose (without your team around).

There is no counterplay. Even if you are on your side of the map.

So I do have some general thoughts about playing against him, but I'm honestly more interested in you're anti-cheat problem.

There isn't one. Gotta ban him or play a champion that he cant kill.

waste a ban on noc and enjoy those xin/graves op metaslaves ruining you and your team like the financial crisis in Greece

One word for you : Zhonya . if you play an AD , guardian angel

The item alone makes any assassin reluctant to dive you because they know they might waste their combos on you if you just zhonya .

Source : I'm a 1.5million mastery point Nocturne main and that item alone makes me cringe when I see it i lose all interest to ult that champion .

Also any real mobility will do the trick. And not being alone.
Hell even banshees works really well.

Yup . Even though I think that banshee gets popped when noc first cast ult , the same way malzahar passive shield pops .

If you stop his ult damage, you can usually get away pretty safely. Since a lategame nocturnes damage is in his RQauto; He ults, banshee pops, you mobility to the opposite direction youre currently facing, and then walk away. If you have an MS boost too it helps.

All to often people will mobility backwards, get hit by his Q, and then be unable to escape from his autos.
