Unpopular Opinion: Yasuo is not broken. You need to learn how play around him

No, I'm not a Yasuo main. I'm a support/tank main and I mainly play Thresh, Braum and Rakan. Is Yasuo annoying? Kinda. Is he broken? No way! I've been playing this game since Season 2 (Could have been since beta if I wasn't so intimidated by the complexety of this game). Yes, even after 6 years, I'm still a Silver/Gold scrub. I'm sorry I'm not good at this particular game. But I've seen a lot of things in this game. You know what was annoying? Kassawin with 90%+ ban rates. THAT was broken. LeBlanc with 2 silences? THAT existed. Xin Zhao completly breaking a team apart. THAT was real. Feral Flare and Devourer happened. Yasuo doesn't even come close together to the broken shit this game had. Yes, his shield can be annoying but you can easily pop it with auto attack or your shittiest ability. His windwall can be annoying but you can bait him and leave him defenseless. The minion dashes can also be annoying but you can clearly see and predict where he is going to dash and you can easily avoid it. Without a teammate with a knock-up, he's gonna be heavily restricted in terms of using his ultimate. The only thing that can genuinely be broken is him ulting under tower and not getting hit. Yasuo can be annoying, but like a fly, who can also be very annoying, you can easily squash him and assert you dominance. Get your shit together and destroy that Yasuo main that you hate so much. No matter the blood. No matter the losses. That is acceptable. Failure is acceptable. Giving up isn't. Don't go cry to Riot to nerf Yasuo. Don't choose the easy way. Defeat him in the hard way.

tl;dr: Yasuo is kinda of annoying but he isn't broken. Focus and you can easily defeat him.

I don't think most people think he is broken. Most people just think he isn't fun to play against at all.

correction... you have to learn how to play around him alot alot alot more than for many many other (all) champions

and then just hope your teammates did just the same... which is in many cases... NOT XD

Yasuo lacks meaningful windows of opportunity. There are other champions that share this problem, but imo, it's most pronounced with Yasuo.

If he misses a knockup Q, he can just get it back almost immediately. Did you get his shield down? Okay, he sits back and gets it back. Windwall is down? He sits back and waits for it to be back up. You survived his ult? I'm sure his ult cd is lower than yours.

He needs cooldown changes early on. He's supposed to be weak in lane and strong late, why is he not weak in lane?

tbh its not unpopular opinion, every yasuo main is saying this and as we know, there are a lot of yasuo mains. Also its not only predicting where he gonna dash, its his pushpower and dodging skills. If u want pop his shield with aa he just gonna dash on you and kill you, with ability its harder, especially after mana nerfs, u need skills to farm as ap mid and if he blocks it with windwall, u cant hit him and also u cant farm

I used to play Heimer a lot against him, it worked pretty well in my opinion (or maybe i'm just stupid, can't tell these days ;) )

I think Yasuo has a pretty strong kit.His kit gives him almost everything to 1 vs 1 somebody or to wipe out everybody from the enemy team.His passive gives him bonus critical % also it gives him a shield.He also has a Windwall that stops almost every projectile in the whole game.His ultimate gives him +50 armor penetration + the crit.And let's not forget about his E - He can easily engage or escape fights. Conclusion - He has a strong kit

When newbies play yasuo they die alot because he is skilled champion (i agree with that). On the other hand when pro players play him - yasuo becomes a nightmare -killing and one shot-ing everybody on the team and he is very hard to deal with. That's my point of view.

Riot is looking to balance pro and newbie. The champion must be optimized for both - pro players and newbies. I think yasuo need's to be optimized or reworked somehow tho i don't know how it would happen.Also yasuo for the past 3-4 years is the most banned champion in solo q / i wounder why
